Millionaire in hut
by Srinivasan S on May 04, 2008 01:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mr Sarathbabu did what he knew best from childhood,as good as TVS Iyengar, but why should he do an MBA,spoiling the chance of another bright guy.I have seen Veterinary Doctors working in Sales Tax dept(Both posting&promotion, education under quota)robbing the chance of a bright veterinarian.Politicians should look at all these before going for reservation.Lot of Tax payer's money is spent on veterinary,MBA college and the students finally opt for somethingelse
We wish Sarathji success as an enterprenuer,at least he didn't go for quota jobs

Your dislike for him discernible. Typical anti-quota mindset.

Hi Srinivasan,
You typically did what Saratbabu advises budding entrepreneurs not to do for success-that is, you gave up!Unfortunately for you, 30 years ago, there wasn't anyone to guide you & tell you that your deprivation due to quota restrictions(over which, you, as an individual, have no control)need not mean end of the road to your dreams of becoming a scientist. There was and still is,a whole world outside the reach of the quotas!!If you had persisted with your dreams passionately and explored, you would have got access to it!But never mind it.Do you still want to be a scientist?Irrespective of your present age and other circumstances, you can still make it as a scientist,in your own right, if you are still passionate enough and are ready to jump out of your limiting mindsets and ready to explore!
Best wishes

A True Thinker
by siddharth sonnad on May 04, 2008 01:51 PM  Permalink

Rejecting high profile jobs offered by MNC's after passing from IIM-A, would only show that u really are a thinker for the society. Not just like everyone who would say that I will be changing things when I am capable of. My Salute to u Mr. Sarathbabu, I hope that our todays generation would learn a lot from ur sacrifice's & serve the society selflessly. I wish u all the best in ur venture. Let ur thoughts reach every youngster who could take our country at the path of development.
I am really very impressed. I will definetly keep in mind to serve our society when I am self capable enough to do it.

Crorepatiliving in hut
by Krishnamachari on May 04, 2008 01:20 PM  Permalink

Congratulations and best of luck to Shri. Saratbhai. he has definitely thrown a subtle hint to occupants of Rasna Hill, RP Bhavan etc. who claim to be living there to serve the poor.
I have some recipes on Fast Food desogned for indian snacks and was waiting ti sell the ideas to some fast food multinationals for consideration. But the article has inspired me to divulge it to Saratbhai free of any consideration, if he finds it feasible to commercially exploi it.
