Touch the lives of people
by Nitesh Gupta on May 03, 2008 06:32 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Just one word to start with.... Incredible.

What this IIM person is doing is something great. Not many of us even think to do so forget about doing so.

He is right today India needs entrepreneurs and not te intellectuals. Most os us are still slave as we are working for te private companies that too what quality of work. Outsourced worked from US and other countries are not of quality and I am sure many will agree with me. We just keep mum because we are paid very high salaries.

I think we need to salute a person like Mr. Babu and make sure is efforts gets multiplied.

v not only need enterpreneurs like sarath but also the farmers who can feed the 1 billion ppl. in the present generation, agriculture has lost its charm and every1 wants to do white collar job.
may b by being foodking, sarath can go for reverse expansion in agri field.

what sarath babu has done is really commendable and inspirational for thousands of people. but i would want to ask rediff is whether it is right to describe him as a crorepati. from the figures given in the article, he has an annual turnover of Rs4 crore, but can he be called a crorepati. i believe using a word life self-made entrepreneur or something similar would be the right term to use for sarath babu.

Why do mix religion with business, what has Islam, Chritsianism or Hinduism got to do with helping the poor people. PLease stop calling yourselves Hindus or Muslims, call yourself an Indian!

Amazing to read the story
by on May 03, 2008 01:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is very interesting to know the manner in which Sarath Babu is able to provide employement to many people and also is able to provide "quality food" in messes. I hope someday he will move to messes in other premier colleges like the IITs, where the quality of food is pathetic.
