RE:Price Rise

In the Indian history inflation for the first time maintained between 2.5 to 3.25% during NDA rule
The only way to reduce inflation is to reduce liquidity in market. UPA has given so many freebies like Loan waiver, salary hikes to government employees, reduction in import duties. All these have increased the money supply and PP for average Indians and fuelling inflation. The Congress Team run by best economists of recent times - Jairam Ramesh, Montek Singh, Chidambram, Manmohan Singh . But still the sorry figure. Even NDA would have been worse than UPA.

Where does the increased money supply come to the UPA (to give *so many freebies like Loan waiver, salary hikes to government employees, reduction in import duties *) if they had not used it for this, would they not have spent it on something else?

Economist is not required to understand the inflation It is the common sense which is uncommon in congress. Their senses are working only on 27% OBC reservation and pleasing minority community to gather votes.
liberalisation of economy in year 1991 allowed it become market driven with no controls available with government to decide the prices of essential commodity and the future of nation looked bright but actually according to my thesis submitted to the Director in PMO for the prime minister's award on disaster management/earthquake engineering we are heading towards a situation where developement will get blocked due to diversion of money to only a few people in india and abroad and no returns to those who might put their mind body and spirit to lift the nation from a crisis causing dissatisfaction in young generation and lack of participation to make india innovative/eneterprising with grace of god towards peace prosperity and pride to nation

"Chidambaram & Manmohan for their foolish economics to appease the LC and minorities , farmers etc "
While at it, why not blame International Jewry, following the fashion of 1930s germany ?
The rise in food products is happening all over the world; it is a question of more people eating better, and expecting the same amount of land to support food and biofuel production.
The scheduled castes pay more as a percentage of income, in most cases for the same food - it is pointless and heartless to blame them for a food shortage happening throughout the globe.

should it be allowed to give chance to a minister to take active interest in games when lives of many are at stake.
Population growth to blame. People of India should accept the blame. More population means more consumption of food and Price increase and fall in supply.
