abe ismein kya hai ek aam quaota ek gareeb quota aur ek admi quota bhi bana dete hai sab happy ho jayenge.
If JOB reservations happen in any state(Tamilnadu/Kolkatta etc) on th basis of some criteria then why NOT in Maharashtra? otherwise stop such type of reservations everywhere ( in each and every state ) in India!!! And the print and news media should do this un-biasfully!!

exactely ....... why people are so angry now as this reservations started we own initially in all states then what's wrong in maharashtra.
The politician has to raise an emotive issue to draw the attention of the people and to get votes. Congress party raised issues like reservation in IIT's, IIM's for OBC's,Reservation for minorities,Special allocation for Muslims based only on religion etc. Recently, samajwadi party tried to woo the North Indian voters of Mumbai based on their lingistic identity. Mayawathi's BSP tries to project itself as the sole champion of Dalits. What then poor Raj Thackery can do? He is trying to project himself as the champion of Marathis. Coming days more issues will be raised like reservation in private sector, Hyderabad for local people, Bangalore for Kannadigas etc. The people are to blame them selves because they get divided on these lines for their personal benifit.
Hence it is imperative to maintain 'cultural' aka 'caste' diversity in all temples in India.
Government of India should implement 'reservations' in all Indian temples as per the 'caste' census in India.
1. 52% of all temple staff including Pujaris should be from OBC communities. 2. 29% temple staff including Pujaris should be from Dalits and Tribals. 3. Remaining all temple staff including Pujaris should be from other castes.
Are politicians demanding reservations also open to investments being made by people of that state only? So a gujrati should make investments in gujrat only. Can we actually break our own nation into such small pieces?

Industries were and are free to make investments in whichever state that provides them a favorable investment climate.
At the same time, it would be natural justice for giving preference in unskilled labor jobs to local populace as the industry is being set up in their land and neighbourhood.
Migrants from other states pour in huge numbers and are prepared to work for lower wages at the cost of the local people.
If industries cared only for lowering wage costs for unskilled labor jobs, then they should have set up the industry in the states from which these migrants are coming from in the first place!
I am sick and tired of politicians dividing and dividing India into tiny piecemeals - in the name of religion, in the name of state, in the name of caste. Can we all for once start thinking that we are all Indians? I personally feel that every politician who makes a demand should first be asked to prove what he has done for India and not that state alone. Instead of using their power to do good for the nation, they are digressing from their responsibility as a politician to flex muscle power for irrelevant issues. Can we now stop looking at Quotas for any caste, creed, or religion and make everything merit based? Can we start looking at providing a helping hand to the socio-economically backward classes to grow by not allocating quotas but providing them good healthcare, education opportunities and more? When will our politicians learn what their job really is!
We are seeing just the beginning of the effect of division of states on linguistic basis. It has taken just 60 years for such issues to arise and 60 years for a nation is too small a period.

Deep Blue it is always "Jai Hind Jai Maharashtra" not just "Jai Maharashtra" you idiot
Absolute BS idea. Quotas should only be for people slightly less capable otherwise - like if someone is crippled in an accident. Quotas for any other person means that he is incapable.
Does this mean that maharashtrians are incapable?
Of course, a different question is: Who is a maharashtrian? Someone who has capably contributed to the state - like gujjus or southies - or someone who simply speaks 'the' language and does nothing else?
