WE ALL ARE INDIANS
by MANEESH RAINA on Apr 10, 2008 10:37 AM  Permalink

I THINK WHO EVER IS ASKING FOR QUOTOS AS PER STATE IS NOT AN INDIAN,HE FORGETS ITS THE ONLY COUNTRY WHERE SO MANY CULTURES ARE FLOURISHING HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,MARATHI,BENGALI ETC.INDIA IS EVERYBODYS FOR ALL THE CITIZENS OF INDIA,NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO DETREMINE WHO HAS TO WORK WHERE AND WHEN.WE ALL NEED TO SEE THAT INDIA BECOMES A SUPER POWER IN LUV HARMONY,I THINK WHO EVER IS ASKING SUCH A THINGS HE IS ONLY THINKING ABOUT HIMSELF NOT OF INDIA AS COUNTRY.WE HAVE THE YOUNGEST POPULATION IN THE WORLD AND WE ALL NEED TO TAKE OUR COUNTRY TO GRETER HEIGHTS,WHERE OUR FATHERS,FOREFATHERS AND OUR CHILDREN WILL CHERSIH AND BE PROUD OF.
I REQUEST ALL THOSE WHO ASK SUCH SILLY QUESTIONS TO BE A LITTLE BROAD MINDED.

Why not
by Aftab on Apr 10, 2008 10:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We should have all sorts of quota based on religion, caste, language , region, dress , economic strata, smokers , alcohlic, rapist, murderer, convicts, blast victims, riot victims, son of poiltician, illegimate children, widows, orphan and any other catagory that we can think off.

If this is implemented then we will not require any enemy country. We will tear apart India our motherland into pieces.

People like Raj Thakrey and his followers and all those who advocate quota should be arrested and declared as enemy of country and sent to mental assylum or dumped into bay of Begal and Arabian sea so that they vanish for ever.

Can you people tell me why your non-marathis education institutes have mushroomed under the claim of linguistic minority. Under which clause 30 lakh malyalees, 20 lakh tamils, 40 lakh gujaratis, and 50 lakhs hindi living in maharashtra falls under the linguistic minority. only people who were living in maharashtra before its formationt can be called minority and not everydy intruders. remember there is 50% reservation for students coming from your communities in institutions run by you and marathi students have to wander here and there. why do you like this policy. go to industrial belt in navi mumbai, pimpri chindhwad, nashik, nagpur, where you will find 80% employees from kerala, TN, Karnatka, UP & BIHAR? for whom vast FDI is pourint into maharashtra? in view of this, nothing wrong in demanding 80% jobs for marathis

Why reservations only for marathi youths, why is he not speaking for jobs to local which includes people from all other states living in maharashtra for last 30-40 years and are maharashtra residents, what does he mean by "bhoomiputra"???. Has anyone dared to ask him from where did he got money to buy a Rs.400 crore land in Mumbai, everyone knows he was a cartoonist, can a cartoonist arrange such a huge sum. the reason for raising this question was that he had amassed this sum from people like us, from marathi youths. i also agree local should get opportunities but you should have that talent to support the claim.

Hi Sawant, It's amazing to see that you view your own countrymen as intruders...we don't need any enemies!! Talking about employees in the industrial belt?...if "marathi people" are so good..then why do they not have a job? are they waiting for an a/c cabin to knock on their door? I'm not being racist here but simply saying that the cause of the problem is not being addressed. This is being snowballed into a political issue. There's another valid point to be spoken about, you give a man a crutch and he will use it...refusing to use his feet. Seems like you want the crutch so bad that you refuse to even believe that you have two feet, two hands and a god given brain that is supposed to be used.

Is there any moral left in politicians..??
by Arnav Singh on Apr 10, 2008 10:36 AM  Permalink

Already we r suffering the ill-effects of cast based reservation. Now its region based reservation..how long does this reservation thing has to go..n y these politicians play this ugly card..!!Ofcourse...to get votes.n they can go to ne extent for votes...!!
I am not from mumbai or UP or Bihar.... but had been in mumbai for 4 yrs...as student..n really loved that place. n according to me the most civilized n tolerant people r (literate) people of maharashtra.
But that in no way implies that there shld b reservation in pvt sector for them in mumbai.
Why should there b ne reservation newhere based on region, religion n casts or languages...?
Its already time that existing reservations b pulled off...n no need for new ones newhere in india. Economically backward people r the ones to have reservation. Nothing n no-one else is appreciable...!!

Raj Thakrey on suicidal path.
by Ravi Sharma on Apr 10, 2008 10:35 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Only vote politics. He or his uncle Bala Saheb Thakre are not concerned about Maharashtrians but power politics. They are unfortunately targeting their Maharashtrian brothers and sisters only and separating them from rest of the India.

reservation
by ss gpal on Apr 10, 2008 10:35 AM  Permalink

In what way the demand by the thakarey for reservation for marathis in jobs is different from caste/sc/st/obc/mbc/abc/religion/minority/sports/handicapped/ braindead /women/freedom fighter/ blahblah quota in jobs and education institutions??? Both deny the fundamental rights of the rest of indiians who do not belong to anyof these brain dead categories.First rule work hard and second stop asking for quota based on other factors and then comment on marathi quota.

Its some thing of a Dawood Ibrahim like Extorsion/Ransom
by Arvind Singh on Apr 10, 2008 10:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its almost like asking that MNS workers should be given jobs, it sounds like MNS is a gang like that of Dawood Ibrahim which depends on extortion/Hafta wasooli and his men are the actual boss of the city. Who is the DON of Mumbai-Raj or Dawood ???

Job reservation for mahaarastrians
by Sonu on Apr 10, 2008 10:33 AM  Permalink

I fully agree with Deependra..it is such a shame thing in a country like india where we all are living in free country..as per my thinking a talent should get first chance whether it is Gujarati,Marathi,.....when job comes only one cast "talent"...and for them who want to discuss more about this issues they are so many other issues to solve which can make india a great country!!!Hope you can find a bit time to think on it..
