Can you people tell me why your non-marathis education institutes have mushroomed under the claim of linguistic minority. Under which clause 30 lakh malyalees, 20 lakh tamils, 40 lakh gujaratis, and 50 lakhs hindi living in maharashtra falls under the linguistic minority. only people who were living in maharashtra before its formationt can be called minority and not everydy intruders. remember there is 50% reservation for students coming from your communities in institutions run by you and marathi students have to wander here and there. why do you like this policy. go to industrial belt in navi mumbai, pimpri chindhwad, nashik, nagpur, where you will find 80% employees from kerala, TN, Karnatka, UP & BIHAR? for whom vast FDI is pourint into maharashtra? in view of this, nothing wrong in demanding 80% jobs for marathis

I agree with you that there should not be any reservation for linguistic minorities. In fact I am against any kind of reservation. But, did you ever introspected why industrialists are prefering people from other states. It is because either marathis are not upto the mark, or fear of trouble like MNS is doing. As I stated early, these type of steps by MNS will do disservice to marathi manoos. let them compete on merit not only in Maharasthra but whole of India. Can you tell, how many people from maharasthra are selected for civil services?

if we are going to have maharashtrians in the job field our mumbai will become the worst city in business as maharashtrians cannot talk proper english nor do they know how to handle people from diff places. so the country will degrade itself if maharashtrian's are given a job in 80%

maharashtrians are the worst behaved people on this earth u can take example from raj thackery
racial, ethnic discrimination by managers in big IT cos even, MNCs is not a secret.. Take any company in bangalore, if you are one working there, if you are not a tamil, or telugu or kannadiga..you will face discrimination from your tamil/telugu/kannada manager they will be partial to employees from their region. It is equally true with managers from other regions as well...
This is not a bad idea provided it should be implemented in every state and equally applicable to marathis working in other states like in Madhya Pradesh all major govt jobs are hold by Marathis
With this type of gundaism, unionism, hoolingams and blackmails, the industrialists are scared to employ marathis and prefer outsiders. What ever chances they were having in normal course are also not available to them. For the sake of god, Raj please don't do such things to further damage the chances of employments. The Shiv Sena and MNS have already done lot of damage for marathi manoos for their petty politics.
All reservations should be removed, if it continues, india will split, every state will become one country, and we have to carry passport and visa to cross one state to other
I think that MNS and its leader think only politically and not constructively.Any such job reservation is baseless anywhere in the country. If Raj Thackeray resorts to an agitation, the top industries will wind up their activities in Maharashtra and go elsewhere in India. Put it anyway, Maharashtra stands to lose. The fundamental rights of an Indian is laid down by the constitution of India and not by Raj Thackeray or his MNS.
