it is right even in south there are lot of marathis who are there.so south insted of being usa type has become a hell
I myself am a maharashtrian and still dont understand how foolish Mr.Raj can get.
Mr. Raj, why dont you understand that its more about the aptitude and expertise and not about being nuts like you who just need "jaat-waad" to fuel unstability in a harmonious state. Leave the state or stay mouthshut !

I am Marathi but I do not require any reservation for myself.If there is increased competition from Northies; I will gear up and hone my own skills to improve and face the challenge. our own legacy and heritage is enough for us to accept the challenge. We are not mentally or physically weaker than the Northies.
In fact I reject reservation for anybody belonging to any category.
Ever wondered why the Raj Thackerays don't disappear? Its because most Maharashtrians actually support the line of thinking of the Thakerays. He has only articulated for personal gain what has been secretly nurtured by most Maharashtrians as is evident from some of the comments here. Having established Mumbai as the financial hub of India with outside help, he now wants to cut off the very hands that fed him and made him grow rich. When an industry hires workers, they want to hire the best talent available, not because someone is from this or that caste, religion or region. Why then have the locals not been able to get these jobs? Ask this question of yourselves. To say that the MNS will agitate and enforce its will is nothing but underworld tactics. Wake up India, don't fall for these gimmicks which will lead us only to ruin.

When the constitution has given the right to every citizen tp persue the livlehood any where in Indian Union..then such a talk is against the very fundamental right and thus is against the spirit of constitution.
India is a country composed of several states..every citizen of any state in the country has the right to move to any other state and find a job for oneself..who is stopping maharashtrians from going to other states and finding jobs then why are they trying to stop others from coming to their state..if people from each state remain there then what is the point in having a country called India we can have seperate states..we should not encourage raj thackarey or any such political leader whose sole purpose is to win votes..jobs ahould be open to people based on merit only and no other criteria

You have addressed the core issues.. But the solution is not what RT says. Its selfish politics.
You have mentioned the problems why dont you give solutions
*Marathi or any culture is not weak to get eroded the way u mention. Who is stopping Marathis to follow their culture.I agree that other states persons should respect and care for Mumbai
*Infra is weak . This issue has to be solved by maha government as all are paying Direct/Indirect Taxes. Maha Government can extract more taxes or other means to fund infra projects
* Here you should also include Maharastrians coming from outside Mumbai to make a fair statement.
* Migrants indulge in illegal acts . Its the police/judicary to catch or punish them. Enforce heavy fines/punishment/Jail term/Bail amount to minimise crime.
* If plying old taxis, vendors without license gives a chance for government to get more revenue as fines, and use that money for infra projects. If fines/punishment increases who will ply old taxis, hawking etc
* I agree with last point... no way mumbai is place to celebrate UP din etc in a large scale. If done privately without noise and publicity its fine

Such people should be thrown into jail as they pose great threat to Nation's internal security. In other countries you cannot publicly announce an agitation. Or else Divide each states and make them small countries. Then they can do what ever they want.
