Those Marathis who accept Raj Thakare's call for reservation are indirectly accepting that in a free market situation, Marathis stand no chance against more meritorius Biharis and UPites. Let Raj and his followers say this in public and the country should then decide what should be done to secure jobs for Marathis. Subsidized education and some financial help may become usefull for Marathis to make them as meritorius as Biharis and UPites are. If that still does not make Marathis meritoruis, then reservation may be considered.

if biharis and upwallas r more talented then ow do u explain-- (!)the poverty and corruption in ur bimaru states' (2)lowest literacy levels in india (3)why dont u make ur states prosperous instead of spoiling rs.... (4)why do industries prefer southern and western india ? industries prefer maharashtra bcoz it is a peaceful state and not crime--ridden like bihar. if u want 2 know how u guys get jobs, look around all the mess u guys hav created in mumbai....the taxiwallas charge 3-5rs more than the fare...and many other examples can b given..... This issue has been used by most of the political parties in the respective states and in many states the locals have already demanded it. As far as Maharashtra is concerned, this old issue is outdated.

If that is the case many people from other states are coming to Maharashtra begging? What about that, they are not ashemed of coming to Maharashtra as beggers.
India is one if evry state would have reservations for its residents only than free movement within different states would be difficult. Are we looking for introducing Visa systems for different states. If Maharastra seeks for reservation for jobs. Then Maharashtrians would have no right to apply for Jobs outside Maharsahtra as well.
This policy of Divide and Rule being implemented by politicians like Raj Thackrey who have their own axe to grind is going to cost heavily for the unity and integrity of India. It should be investigated who (which Country) is actually behind Raj that is trying to create disturbance in India and trying to disintegrate it. His accounts should be fridged and passport taken from him. He should be put under vigil. He is a traitor of Mother India. Dangerous than even the terrorists because he is propogating ideas for his own personal politican gain which if every state decides to implement India will disintegrate.

I completely agree. Such people and their parties should be banned & punished for spreading hatred. They are no less then traitors. A lot of people in this post are blaming each other which shows that such politicians have succeeded upto some level in bringing hatred against each other and fulfilled their agenda. My request to everyone would be not to let MNS fulfill their nefarious designs. And any such rhetoric from politicians should be fought against unitedly by all the aware citizens of the country.
80% for marathis, 22.5 % for SC/ST 27.5% for OBC So how much for marathi forwards? how much for marathi OBC? How much % for others? Tough calculations - The great Politicriminals(poitic(ians c)riminals)- good going
