maharashtra has called any businessmen to do business in maharashtra, they came for thier profit, they know maharashtra well educated, social & people here adjust & undertand others. You go to Bihar to start business and get there experience how bihari or others are co-operative.

I have a good idea. Have your Raj Thackaray married to our Mamta Banerjee. Maharashtra is anyway going to be screwed and the lady will make it happen faster. Atleast West Bengal will be saved. LOL

What is this Irani Trophy match going on!!! Maharashtra Versus Rest of India!!! If Mumbai is the financial capital it is because of India and not because of Maharashtra. Start acting like Indians. Mumbai is too great a city to be reduced to a regional place by petty politicians. JAI HIND!!

Every person has right to work anywhere in India. 20% non maharashtrian will work here.
About Mahrashtrian working in other states, they have right to work there in 20% slot.

Thats so silly an idea.

A country that can't implement half the plans it finally puts into force is supposed to monitor employment ratios in terms of region???

Yeah, right!

THE TRAGEDY OF A COUNTRY
by on Apr 14, 2008 06:29 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its sad that indians have to choose their leaders from the likes of raj or bal thakres or mayavati....it is one thing to make speeches for the people of ones soil but but another to wait and watch its consequences ....it has got very little to do with intelligence ....if maharashtra did not happen to have the immense contribution of the so called non-marathi people would maharashtra been as coveted a state as its today ....why dont these politicians simply be thankful to all the non-marathi Indians with whose efforts maharastra has come to this level....moreover we must not forget that if any nation or a state has to progress then it should rise above petty politics and accept all its people irrespective of caste ,creed , religion, region etc. ....the only criteria for admissions in professional institution or jobs should be just MERIT , and nothing else... therefore 80% quota in private sector can only be a foolish man's brainchild , a man whose interest lies not in people's progress but making his own future .....it is this mentality that has been the reason of denying opportunities to the thousands of well deserving young men and women of our country who then try to look across the border for brighter future and those who cant afford either accept their fate or just end their lives ...... then are we taking a step into the new horizons with this separatist mentality....looking up to these low and mean politicians to decide our fate .....

Quite possible.
All so called high cast communities are migrants from north India / central Asia (if you believe Aryan invasion theory).
Off course in many communities today have mixed ancestry.

No quota
by Kiran Kulkarni on Apr 11, 2008 01:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mantras for harmony:

1.No quota to anyone on any basis.
Affirmative actions for all under previledged.
2. Distribute development.
3. Stabilize population. (Specially UP, Bihar!)
Incresing population is putting pressure on national resources and creating rift.
4. If you migrate then mingle, don't try to belittle locals. If don't like locals go back to your state.

Hey buddy you have spoken my words! I truly agree with u. It is only because of the vast population in the northern belt there is a lot of backwardness. Forgive me my north indian friends but it seems that the family planning slogan of UP & Bihar is "HUM DO HAMARE DO, TEESRA, CHOUTHA, PACHVA............HUA TO MUMBAI BHEJ DO! Personally I have no grudge against the UP & Biharis. They are the most hardworking crowd in india. If they get social support and conducive environment in their own states, they might provide the greatest challenge to any state in india. But this is unlikely to happen given their social scenario. It seems in north india the wealth is not distributed properly between people as in the southern part. The rich in UP & Bihar are amongst the richest in India and the poor are the poorest of the poors in india. There are still the zamindars holding large stretches of land in UP & Bihar and they are not ready to let go. The landless work as farm labours from generation to generation. I urge my north indian brothers who keep on abusing maharashtrians for their stand on this portal to raise their voice in developing their states. They may ask the industrialists to invest a part of their capital in their states. Industries like to invest in Maharashtra and the southern states in general as the law & order situation is better in these states. Unlike Punjabis it seems that NRI UP & Biharis have forgetten their motherland and are doing nothing for it!
