delhi is an old city but ggn is still a gaon. so, obviously, if you have money, you have made to order space for your office. but have you considered HOW you will operate without power, water and law/order?
are the employees working in GGN happy? Has anyone tried to find this out?
Are people living in GGN happier than those in delhi? Think about this seriously.
It is better to meet oyur client in GGN at HIS office rather than having your own office here.
Miss anjuli, from all the money you are getting for writing these articles favouring ggn, WILL YOU BUY LIVING SPACE IN GGN?

I lived for some years in Delhi and after a harrowing time with water, electricity , parking and traffic problems, we bought a house in Gurgaon even though my Husband travelled to CP for work. 7 years of living here, I have heard a lot of negative publicity about Gurgaon from those resistant to change, but as for me, I live an unreal life with comforts of a full power back up, no water problem, no traffic jams, (slow traffic sometimes), a club with swimming, gym, sports for my 2 kids and office commute for me & my husband about 7 minutes (including parking). There is absolutely nothing I need to go to Delhi for, even friends like to come meet us so they can check out the new places!
at this junction when Gurgaon is getting crowded with corporate and residents can I request Haryana Govt to make a special purpose vehicle with DLF, ANSALS,UNITECH,and other major developers to initiate a project to bring water from ganges or other Himalayan rivers through dedicated pipeline otherwise Gurgaon will die in next 5 years. also a mega power station in Gurgaon to meet the power needs
Companies wishing to relocate should come together and catch hold of some developers to develop a whole new locality- Virar, Mysore, Dharwad, Belgaum, Pirangut, etc. That way they can get their offices dirt cheap and in the process, bring prosperity to a new locality

Noida is far better than Gurgaon, no public facility in Gurgaon only DLF, ansal made roads and colonies without any proper system for public access, Gurgaon will face drought in next 5 years

i know you live in luxury in GGN - but that is because you are a fool. If you had so much money, you could buy luxurious mansions in Europe by the seaside - without dust/dust and with good civilised, law-abiding people.

it is because the builders have made money in tons and left the residents high and dry for water, power, roads, sewage, internal public transport and crime. situation is becoming precarious in last few years and it is time that Gurgaon will be crime capital of India

The govt just doesnt ask the developers to provide the localities with the infrastructure. The authorities just take some bribes to keep quiet and builders make money and keep making money.
The National capital Region is all set to take over mumbai as major financial centre of india, ...today it has the best infrastructure and highest quality of life as per the Ernst & Young survey, the towns of Ghaziabad, and faridabad in NCR are already counted as world's fastest growing cities as per international magazine newsweek, the entire region is being connected with world class metro, it's the only place in subcontinent to be connected with metro with international standards, while rest of india still is doing with dirty local trains

Yes builders of Gurgaon, are among the best in the world, as per Forbes magazine KP singh of DLF is the eighth richest man in the world, and they are doing their bit to put the entire NCR on global map
This is the second article on Gurgaon on Rediff. I think builder who are facing extreme difficulty to sell their project in Gurgaon are using media & internet etc to boostup their sales. However I agree that Gurgaon is one of the best major city in India, but having said that water shortfall is going to become major problem there. I know this is the problem all around our nation, however ground water level has already fallen to the scary level and varioius commercial and residential projects are still coming up there.

Read here in Rediff abt. GGN, that they said yesterday (http://in.rediff.com/money/2008/apr/07gur.htm) The article drew lot of adverse comments from readers. But still this site is hell-bent on selling GGN as a dream destination. :))
