Dont only blame banks but now the government is also equally blamed. Just for instance forest land issue has come up and looming large on the real buyers in Thane Ghodbunder road, Mulund, Goregaon etc. So while purchasing flat one has to pray god that his property would not declare un authorised. In this scenario only common man will be looser.

Sab zyada chor bank is ICICI...All banks reduced rates..they never did..now when banks woulod increase their rates..ICICI would be the firsr one to increase their rate...inse bade chor mein aaj tak nahin dekhe
Why Harshad Mehta was able to play his game of corruption and made huge wealth. becos he could use help of such banks only. Same case with icici but one day icici will go bankrupt.
By reducing the loan amount, buyers would not be able to purchase flats. Demand would Reduce and Hence the Price. Pl. don't throw your hard owned money to hype. If the builders have to do business they would have to reduce prices. They would not be able to hold for a long time becuase even they have borrowed money from the bank's and have to pay interest and principle.
Friends, it is in your hands to bring down prices to a realistic value.

I fully agree with this. If the banks undervalue a property, the builders will be forced to bring down the prices. Its in the interest of the consumers!
Look at message .. NO body wants to go for ICICI as they are not good and transparent in the system. Go for SBI as they are more trustworthy and ethical people. If they give us loan we will be less in problem. ICICI bank recruits gundas... Ban should be from all of us...
I feel private banks like ICICI or HDFC are much better as compared to Public Sector Banks. I have taken a home loan from PNB. Though their interest rates are much lower, but following are the issues which will discourage me (atleast) for dealing with PNB again :
1. Pathetic paper-work and follow-up system 2. They sanction only 75% of the loan amount 3. Very high processing fees (1%) and documentation charges 4. Managers are poorly informed about the latest policies or circulars 5.Hidden charges are prevelant. 6.Processing or turn-around time is much higher.
I have had a very tough time with PNB. Swear, how can a bank be such a laggard when it comes to technology. Even though they have the interest rates lower still, they torture to such an extent that I feel private banks are much better.
Guys, better stay off from PNB. I think it should be re-named as Pathetic National Bank.

true - better sbi than icici when it comes to loan. they are good for retail banking - when the going goes good.

The weirdo taxation methods adopted by master mind chidambaram and gang of Congress is causing chaos in our country over inflation in almost all areas.
Keep voting them and make yourselves poorer day by day.
I still remember, house loans were lowest in BJP regime, lowest in 60 years - 6.75 %

but bjp was riding on global low rates of interest. its not fair to compare across different times.
i dont blame the congress for its misfortunes in inflation. BUT - if PC were such a genious as he always portrayed, he shold have got it right. instead they were too busy trying to make money. things like iron ore export should have been stopped long back. if everything he does is the ONLY way - as he always portrays himself on the TV with an astute posture - he should also be a posterboy when his foot is firmly in his mouth.

Question: How come inflation in India rises only when Congress comes to Power everytime?
People blame everyone but dont see the fault in selecting the right people to govern the country.
How come interest rates, prices for groceries, vegetables, clothings went up only when Congress came to power? It cant be a coincidence continously for 60 years!

I know u all minorities will keep voting Congress for dreaming of facilities but u people are a thus being a major hand in voting the most Anti India element - the congress.
As far as many Muslims too know that their families were happier in BJP time.
All daily household items were less than a half cheaper and the interest for home loans were 6.75 %. Go and check how many minorities actually rose from a poor lifestyle to a average life style!

NDA did some excellent things - road construction - imagine how much inflation was controlled due to better roads and connectivity - less fuel expense on heavy vehicles and less end-user prices. Telecom - good regulation in this meant cheap calls, more communication and business and more money for people. Economy was stable, except that global oil prices were rising. small time tradesmen are better representatives of ours than foreign returned children of ex PMs and their foreign bred (note: not born) mother.

Congress will say pro muslims, pro poor... but they are only pro Sonia and co... In reality they have done nothing to our country.
We muslims too believe that under 45 years of congress rules, nothing has changed the plight of uneducated minorities... so the congress party can only keep their trumpets blowing with no sound coming out...
