The left parties are supporting the govt from the day one. What positive action they have taken for the control of prices except threatening and taking morcha against their own government (They support from outside but they have all inside information what Govt of India is doing), which will not help in controlling prices. Sit with the concerned authorities discuss and do something constructive. We all know that the current UPA partners are playing TOM and JERRY cartoon show with Indians
why dont the govt put some limit of an individual that he/she can take loan and buy properties and so on, why govt is making life dificult for low income people. The govt will not do anything that will solve the problem, I mean look at Singapore, this is very costly but still everybody has a house there and people can easily afford one house from govt in Singapore but in India they will just increase the interest rate.

The area of concern is also misuse. If you see in 5 star hotels every thing is excess be it A/C, lighting, food, and brothel except for paying their staff. Multinationals and 5 star hotels adding fuel to fire by appointing people from other countries in the name of expertise. All this will result in demand supply mismatch. The whole world has become greedy and selfish.
Look at a farmer%u2019s life now. No next generation to work in paddy field. All want their son to work in office and factories. More and more moving to the cities for work. No or little information on latest techniques, technology and supply of high quality/yield seeds. Farmers who work under the sun and rain fighting against natural calamities get nothing in return, this results in many self destruction. I have seen these people lead a simple contented life with what they have. But temptations through media and western influence prompts us in exhausting our natural resources faster, leading to global warming and destruction of our green planet.
You have a simple solution remunerate less for the people who work sitting in A/C and more for the people who work for the sustenance of others life.

Left adopts a policy not to withdraw support or pulling a government. So Chidambaram is angry with the Left. But he cannot show the guts to say something against Bush or terrorists.
If mayawati became PM the: 1. All the cut which goes to congress will go to Mayawati. 2. Ambani will close the dhanda and leave the country becaue he can face 100 charges against him 3. ALl the planning commision monkey will be thrown out next day 4. All the babus will run for their job as all of them are corrupt 5. All the congresing gunda will go underground 6. Industry will run but not at only one businessmen, like ambani 7. New business frontier will open which will be frutifull for new comers in business 8. I will challenge you that this inflation figure will come down drastically before Lok-Sabha elections. And all UPA partners will start saying that we have taken drastic steps to reduce inflation etc--- and after winning elections again putting oil at every hole they will screw everybody like this for next four years and again same cycle will continue --- This is game played by so called secular parties to fool Indians.

There is nothing to do with election and inflation... It is a global issue now.. the food prices have shot up in the past few months, becuase of the reduction in food supplies due to adverse climatic conditions...

The bad policies of UPA govt has made the prices of essential commodities spiral out of control..Its really an irony to notice inflation hovering around 7% inspite of having the best economist(as claimed by media) in prime-ministerial chair...With the world heading towards possible recession the impact of inflation would be far reaching on millions of indian who are already struggling to get justt few morsels of bread .... on an average 3-4 farmers commit sucide everyday in vidarbha region ...if the genie of inflation is not controlled soon the figure would improve...i wonder if govt really cares for common people...there is no regulatory body to control prices...landlords keep increasing rents at thier will,resturants owners keep hiking the price of food items with no improvement in quality..der is many more examples....implementation of 6th pay commission would further trigger the inflation as demand would shoot up with no suppy to meet it....under the duress of world bank govt has lifted all the subsidy in farm sector....condition is so grim that farmers dont even get return for thier investment....so they abandon farming nd migrate to cities looking for jobs.....this has virtually slowed down the farm sector nd suppy of food items....govt loan waiver would not benefit more than 50% of farmers as loans have been taken by money lenders...in budegt no additional money has been set aside for this loan waivers....banks have been asked to replace loans with govt securities....

it does. common man who wants to build a house. any shop that has to be built, any roads, and dams to be built. ultimately inflation effects us this way or that. price rise in fuel effects us all too. rise in food price is the most direct.
the worst part is that 7% does not mean a 7% increase in price of the particular or all products - its worse. steel prices have nearly doubled sicne the last election time. same with cement price - 50% increase. its worse with food items. dal and wheat prices have shot through the roof.
but, there's always hope. we have an FM who will deliver us dream budget. until the next budget... dream on! ;)
