Request for Rediff Admin/Mangement
by velmurugan Marudhachalam on Apr 04, 2008 10:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi Rediff,
Pls do not publish such crap and faulty stuff and lost the credibility and name of Rediff. The youth portal is of not go good quality and no value for anyone as I see other than supporting the youth for flirting. Also does anyone know
how a php driven site can support 1.5 million hit per week. Being an IT consultant for 10 years, I do not see how a php driven site can support that. And I do not know how the company employs 104 guys for this crap. It is waste of time to read this article and Rediff should not go in to this kind of bad marketing for some useless things.

Thanks
vel

it depends on WEB SERVER Hardware which can support 1.5 million hits per week. PHP or ASP script coding is irrelevant in terms of handling number of users. r u sure u have 10 yrs exp in IT Consultancy?

Guidiness
by corupt indian on Apr 04, 2008 06:42 PM  Permalink

I got guidiness just by visiting his so called web portal for youth. Rediff is definately getting paid by this guy. Look at his picture he doesnt even look as if he is a teenager. He must be a father of 2 or more children.

1.5 Million hits...does he know what does hit mean...i guess the no. of mouse click to get out of his web portal for youth...lol

There are like a million of such sites lurking around on the internet. Dude come back after 2 yrs and tel me how successful you have been...

Just plain crap.

SEO is very poor..
by Karan Mittal on Apr 04, 2008 06:13 PM  Permalink

this youthportal site is not even crawled properly by google. only 3000 dynamic pages.

SEO is very poor. it will take more 2-4 yrs to achieve even 1 million hits every month for a social network site like this one.
