As usual Indians who are known to be show offs look absoulutely stupid on how to make the economy run. Our IAS and such so called intelligent people fail to give one km of good road, improper water supply, no housing, people sleeping on roads and pavements, lack of public amenities and then they claim to be 5th largest economy. Of course if we do not pay our bills money is saved and we will look profitable!! This is what Indian govt is doing and fooling its gullible people. High time these politicians and govt admninistrators resigned and gave their posts in favour of Chinese people who know how to run the show better
Can I ask why does pakistan not sell to the people Indians are selling and why is it cheaper? I think their cement is of lower grade else they would sell in the same markets Indians are selling and not to India at low prices

Apparently you don't know any thing about cement industry cartel in India.
With the support of some crooked ministers of yester years cement Industry of India is fixing cement prices in India for years.
Price fixing is plain Illegal in Capitalist economy. And a big offense. Had this thing happened in USA or Europe all of this current Indian cement manufactures would be sitting in Jail.
Even though Pakistan cement is quoted at Rs. 170/bag, International cement costs only Rs. 130/bag including landing cost in India.
For so many years Indian cement industry was behind approving foreign cements for imports. In other words it is like having the Cat supervise the milk. They made approving process so difficult that it was pretty much impossible for any foreign manufactures to get importing license to India.
Unlike you say, cement quality is pretty much Standard. And it hardly takes 20 minutes of scientific test to verify that.
Indian cement prices are almost double of International prices because of the crooked Indian cement industry.
No where in the world Cement is selling for more than Rs. 130/bag. For developed countries this price is peanuts.
