The article has failed to mention the fact that all FREE remittances are misleading people, while they offer an adverse exchange rate. ICICI rate in UK is usually 4 to 5 times more than that charged by SBI, if one takes into account the rate, which is usually 85 to 90 paise less.
It is easier to gat a certificate from village office than trying to arrange a wire transfer thru SBI.Their contact numbers will never work and the officers are not responsible.IT IS SLOW BANK OF INDIA.Will die down in 10 years

I would not agree with you. May be SBI canada is good, I donno, but I have transferred money from Canada to India through SBI in a reasonable time and less cost.
