Why not probe the sensex rise?
by masood m on Oct 18, 2007 08:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I wonder where all these guys are when the market was irrationally going through the roof? Why not probe and see who was really benefiting from it. The FM & Sebi were right in cooling the markets. They still need to cool further.

by MSUBRAMANIAM on Oct 18, 2007 08:25 PM  Permalink

Only 8-10% are the recievers of this lopsided growth. The man in the Villages and streets ( may have cell phones)- has bare minimum clothes and few crumbs in his stomach. Over 45% of the Population is BELLOW THE POVERTY LINE.The nation is in the Grip of Terrorism. As per NSA-Stock market is flooded with Slush money, Hawala Money, Terrorists Money- these are the person ruling the BSE-Classific Scientific Maninpulatio. With Nuc Deal in the Docs-USA may go for Strong arm tactics- Manmohan singh may be the Scape Goat-Who knows he is being back stabbed.
Bottom Line : SNAP POLL MAY BE 4-6 MONTHS AWAY. Two in December will be the Litmus test.

Watch out- Take Precaution- There is A PIDE THE PIPER around.Precaution is the need of the HOUR.
BUT ONE THING IS SURE- INDIA WILL BE IN DEEP TROUBLE BEAUSE OF THIS HYPER BLOOD PRESSURE WHICH MAY BE A CEREBERAL HAMEORAGE AND NECK DEEP TROUBLE.

mr.kirit somaya's allegation against SEBI
by ramamurthy s on Oct 18, 2007 08:22 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

he is absolutely wrong regarding issuance timing of sebi circular altogether. for his kind info it was available in sebi website around 9 pm on 16th itself as soon as i checked up with their website after NDTV PROFIT broke the news in their channel around that time.so to say that SEBI changed its tune to 18 months after FMs speak on 17th morning only is downright blasphemy and mr somaya should not mislead the common investor more than SEBI and FM. he should rather check up the facts for accuracy before making such irresponsible comments.

What a foolish observation
by bobby j on Oct 18, 2007 08:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This statement is a crap- "What we would like to know from the FM is that at 10.30 am, when trading was suspended due to circuit breaker, how did he come to know that FIIs were buying shares? Were FIIs buying in the grey market of which the FM had knowledge? Or is it that the FM authorised and sensitised the grey market operation?"
FII's were buying didn't mean that they were buying after lower circuit. If FM said investors are buying that doesn't mean that retail investors were buying when the market was shut. U completely got it wrong gentleman may be bacause you ended up selling your share at circuit. Don't take the personal grudge. So think before you complain about FM's comment.

The statement made by Mr.Somaiya is not a crap and the bobby wants to know from FM about the buying shares when NSE and BSE suspended trading due to both hit the lower circuit in a matter of seconds when market opened.Bobby have not understood the gravity of the statement made by Mr.somaiya and wants to know from FM when he is nobody. If he was the intelligence and the academic qualifications he should sue the FM as Mr.Somaiya has declaired or follow him as thousands fo small invester like him has incurred loss.Nothing happens just to post the reply.

M@rket dynamics - prediction
by BIJU KRISHNAN on Oct 18, 2007 08:06 PM  Permalink

The market will slump tomorrow morning to 17213 and then rise above 19K by 14:34 hrs..!

Day traders please use the opportunity.

These numbers have a great deal of logic, if you can just try to recap last 2 days.

I like this volatility, but will caution novices to stay away from the game. Kirit bhai - Mujhey pata hain....ur adding fuel to the fire right...! Lage raho Kirit bhai :)

Who benefited from the crash
by swami pudipeddi on Oct 18, 2007 07:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The message is very clear and good and a guide to the investors.
AOPs is a route through which several Venture Capitalists enter and when they do not pick up the stake or denied stake they take their money back with abnormal interst. Interestingly they do not file any return in any IT Circle on the plea that their income is not taxable in India. Who ever first got their investment and retire them they insist on payment of interest without TDS. Even a small time depositer in India has to get the tax deducted and claim refund and wiat for the refund. But his is not the case with VCs. Why this differentiation? When these people are not subject to any scrutiny how i that transperancy of the fund can be established?
The difference/mismatch between the capital market and the real economy is very wide to anticipate any thing. This is nothing but speculation. Nobody bothers what is the impact but it is the money required but not what money?

benefitted by Mr.Kirit Somayya as he has got a point to make hue and cry to get cheap publicity and to become a hero. When the market was going up i.e. within 4 session 1000 popints no one bothered. what about the appreciation of rupee which affect adversely to our exports?
