cbdt should simplify tax regime, and not create more tax a/cs like service tax etc,and to create transparency and avoid scope for corruption, realistic taxes which are afforable by a common man, since now the govt role is being reduced in the indian economy, the govt should reduse tax and let the private sectand or take care of the economy, and the govt can offer only welwafare to the poor and needy only.too much govt is too bad and only serves the vested interest.please give us mukti from govt harrasments, and rule of permit.
All their efforts seem to be ridiculous. They are just showing they want to the tax paying process to be electronically handled. If they were serious, they would not have put the digital signature criteria. Digital signature costs Rs. 1500 per year. Its a recurring cost. Its ridiculous. Why cant the website have usernames and passwords (PAN No) and let us pay our taxes by credit card or debit card. As simple as that.
strangely the income tax or other tax people are soft towards politicians and govt officials, who are gloating money and mis using power, money is laundered and yet very rarely they are caught, because of power, our leaders and public servant are bound to serve and not to rule.
The efforts taken by the IT dept in the e-Filling front is commendable. They can come up with large scale awareness about the e-Filing among the tax payers so that it will be a great success. This will also speed up the refund process.
yes cbdt is sleeping it has to wake up and see how the facility of tax and infrastructure is localised, each state capitals and major towns, let us pull out these sarkari daftars to new happening places, in all major towns/ports, creates full fledge customs facilities this will help trade ,industry, common man and eliminate the middle men mumbai/delhi etc, each city should have import/export facility of jewelery, what is preventing them arent our leaders failing, in their task, let india and indians work and not exploit each other.
