Have you heard about this company? I read article on them. It looks like they are bringing a new concept for India market-Deliver software as a utility service, not as product, which comes with a lot of IT hassles, and big upfront cost...It looks like they are providing software on monthly subscription basis like other utilities such as mobile, electricity...I am sure SMBs, HNIs will get benefitted immensely who can't afford to pay tens of lakhs... They have not launched their product yet..will launch soon...Looking forward to their on-demand platform and wanted to let you guys know...
Let's hope to have more product companies from India, Aisia regions...With so much IT talent in our country I strongly believe Indians MUST lead product reasearch and development in IT world..
The world of internet is really exciting now a days since it have got various platforms other than the Microsft's internet explorer now we can access through our mobile phones but till date surfing on mobiles is a costly affair and telecom companies can't do much here since they are already facing stiff competition from day by day reducing call rates.
The interference of Yahoo and other big names just attracts the people but poor spectrum and low quality service doesn't make a person feel attracted to there services.
We have already seen this when Reliance Mobile entered telephone industry they promoted it by saying it as a computer but in reality it was nothing people got attracted due to low prices and free incoming.
The major fator is money which helps the customer to decide I am not saying it that quality doesn't matter yes it do matter but not fully in Indian markets.
Yahoo is just one mention in Rediff's article other big names entering this sector is _Jiffy360.com__ these companies want to redefine everything from pin to plane of internet that really looks cool...
