Ads are all good for attracting new buyers. But important thing is to retain them and that is possible only by provide excellent service, especially in the cut throat market that India is. Big brother AirTel is always watching you! Hutch had provided very good to excellent services and it remains to be seen whether Vodafone can at least maintain it.
Weather its vodafone or Hutch the network is really bad....now i dont get network in open area now i have bought MTNL Trump have the best network and amazing clarity...JAI MTNL
My phone screen still displays Hutch. But most other phones are displaying Vodaphone. I contacted the customer care, but they just told me to wait for few days. No change still. I want to see Vodaphone on my display. What should i do ? I even restarted my phone, but still shows Hutch only..:((. Some one please sugest wht to do ?

Just type VODAFONE and send it to 56565 (Toll Free). But remember one thing, your cell should not be Nokia 93 handsets..

The operator name appearing on the screen is either by the phone, which names the network according to the signal code and the country code or by the SIM, which will overtake the above. In both cases, if you are using a phone, which is manufactured b4 hutch becoming vodafone, the phone will name the corresponding combination of the signal code and the country code, as Hutch (too older phones will show it as BPL mobile) and the SIM, which were supplied to u by the Hutch will show it as Hutch only.
Now on, I presume, the SIM supplied will be showing 'Vodafone', as they can make the necessary change in the SIM, before giving it to the customer. Hope it is clear now....

Yeah,It is the logo that means you have to go to settings and select operator logo on to make this logo visible on your screen which just hides the hutch. Are they fooling. The thing is that if you have a GPRS fone the vodafone will be seen otherwise not.so buy a GPRS phone to be with vodafone .How funny?
