slow down of the economy
by pasupathy mahadevan on Oct 07, 2007 12:07 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We can see that there are indications of slowing down of the economy.our votes catching politicians should realise this and cannot keep fooling the nation any further with their tall talks. The young India is looking for the real governance and real performance and not by wasting money and their time in boycotting the parliament seccions and making their presence in the crcket matches...when the farmers are dying..be it in vidharbha or in AP.The time has now come for the young leaders like Rahul ,Jaya prakash narayan,Arun jaitley.Maran, seetharam yechury,Mayavathy and like to take over the mantle of leading this nation.they have to fight against the corrupt leaders and see that the nation prospers by improving the life of the masses

IT people are really helping the country
by rampravesh upadhyay on Oct 06, 2007 10:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi all,
One thing is very clear IT and BPO people are paying 100% tax but this is our government's duty to use in a best way this hard earned money.
Our politician are really doing nothing for the country only they are enjoying our money. For example one day I saw on NDTV a lady from Vidarbha in Maharastra crying since she does not have aata/wheat in her home so that she can give her child. I was really very upset to see that. I am wondering Sivasena always says that they are the only representative of Marathi Manus but I don't think they have done anything for Vidarbha people. Even our Agriculture Minister from Maharastra but he don't care about Vidarbh where people don't have even food.

Now it is sad to see that there is not any real leader in our country who can do something for there farmers.

Why Economy should slow down..
by manoj on Oct 06, 2007 10:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is no reason at all, unless media create hype then definetly recession start. This is no rocket science. All people have to do is keep buying and selling between them. Economy is bound to keep booming. This is no bloody great secrets u dont need to be Harvard MBA, and great economist to understand this. Economics is very very simple. If enough people keep serving their customers with goods, service in such a manner that customers keep coming back to them. Then there is nothing in this world that can stop that economy to grow and society to become rich. Only great thinkers & economists confuse people, creat hype and it start going down...

Is IT industry guy, who gets good Salary, not paying his/her Income tax.

I am sure all IT Industry guys are getting Tax deducted at source.

This Tax goes to Govt Kitty.

Govt. should come out and tell us why this tax collection is not routed to 800 million Indians who they believe is not impacted by India's recent progress.

Just Think about it , is it IT guys mistake or Govt. problem that 800 million Indians do not get the advantage of tax paid.

Also when it is said IAS / Govt. Secreatry gets less salary than IT guys. PLEASE >> PLEASE look at the FLAT / BANGLOW of IAS officer in Delhi Chanaykaya puri . You wont get it at a rent less than INR 1 lach per month. Look at the security for IAS.

Finally Look at the Bribe IAS guys are amasssing.

When Govt. says IT industry is pampered.

Govt should come out clearly and say what do they mean. How do they categorise IT industry hard work as pampering.

Just tell me if IT industry is is overpaid and does not know its job ( Much like reservation, where you have a job gaurantee and license NOT TO WORK) Will US / EU pay Indians for the IT job in such a case.

Just think about it.

Sir,
Donot accuse the ppl who are sitting in glass buildings for others who are not so fortunate. It is because of these people that there is revenue in terms of taxes, jobs and enough budget for the country to invest in infrastructure, irrigation and agriculture.
IT industry is pulling the burden of country by its hands. The manufacturing industry is the next that would share the burden. When this industry comes into picture its the rural India that would improve as there would be a tremendous need for labour force. Within 10-15 years we would have no farmers and children dying at this rate(to say the least).

Very correct, but they should be allowed to work for 1 hour daily like people in other sectors. Sarkari Babus chewing Gutka and working for 1 hour a day....

We will pay 95% of salary as Tax and the logic of output should be also applied to other sectors. 1 Hour for Sarkari babu, factory worker should also be made accountable

Raj you are looking to salaries of IT wroker not looking to 12-18 hours working. If the Babus in govt. department works honestly for 6 hours, India become the developed country and rate of corruption will go down by 50%.

Dear Raj,
Inflation is not because of highly paid IT workers but, it is because of lots of black money. People earn lots of black money in stock, real estate, from other business etc. but, not paying taxes honestly. There must be some way to tax these people.
