tax, tax, and tax.. more and more and much more.. Dont know where all the money is going and why the infrastructure never improves inspite of loads of tax paid... anyways.. I dont fly on personal cost... its a burden on corporates and dont know why this big debate is happening here... Reflects our attitude as a nation.. Want to have my opinion on each and every damn thing.. doesnt matter whether it matters to me or not.. ha ha.. lol
Why should we pay more for peak hours. Are there additional benefits? If i pay more will my flight will take off or land on time? This is absolute not possible.
Instead of sucking the money from the people, organize your schedule of flights and improve the infrastructure of airports. without doing it how can you ask for more money? Is it fair?
Every one should ban this extra fees. No one should go in Flights. Everyone should oppose it.

well i dont mind paying more if the need is genuine, but make your case with hard facts, I fly almost once a month and I really have no complaints back with the people or the infra or the schedules, maybe I havent experienced a big delay. But I think the revolutionary "dr Singh" and his prodigy, our present FM should atleast make it transparent?
it is valid if someone says there a genuine crunch due to congestion, economic or infra based and the same money can be used to solve that problem. but neither has the AAI nor have the airlines spelt out any such complaints. I want to ask my company to pay me more as i travel in peak traffic hours by car ;) ? Plus I want the govt to reimburse me everytime they block the roads for a VIP as it causes congestion....
Look at international fights from India, Be it from Bombay or from Delhi all starting at very very odd hours. Sure our airports are not in any of the airlines peak list. The flights to Hong Kong are coming from Dubai, or Karachi, something like connection flights..
Even with our govt and media boasting like India is no where in the world map. If we are something the airlines are forced to change thier time table.. of course if they are able make money they will do this in any point of time..
Well, non peak charges will benifit the international passengers..
But as far as poor indian started flying 5 yeras ago, the govt. tries to milk then as much as they can..
CONG. GOVT. SUCKS!.. They are trying to make money in every turn.. but where is the accountablity?..
At the end we poor indians are the loosers, need to pay more for the dilapidated service what we get from so called airport..
There is none in the country with real international standards.. and what sucks is there is no plan either..
Hi, No way. I will rather travel a day in advance by Train than pay the hike for which the common man is not responsible. The myopic view of the government for availing of more and more airline s is detestable!!
Next Lalu will introduce a similar tax in railways to pay compensation to Pakistani bomb blast victims. Shivraj Patil will introduce a tax to pay compensation to Pakistani terrorists and soldiers killed by Indian security forces.
Great going Congress, keep it up. You are so predictable!!
Comeon........... I really cant understand how they can pass such a law just like that!!!! 1. Did the person - who ever it may be analyse what is the reason for the congestion!!! 2.Ok.. if we pay for peak hours and in years to come what if non peak hours becomes too much congestion. As these are the timings for International flights.
Wake up Govt and get some life.... for poor citizens... Address the cause for the grass root... develop the infrastructure-- expand the capacity... FM advises corporates not to increase the prices... But his own Govt does this!!!!! What a pity...
If the aeroplane does not take off as scheduled and I have paid peak hour charge, then who is going to refund the money. Cause I will tell you this will happen, you are paying for on time flight but get what, a Bad Apple...That is it. So ultimately you and I are going to suffer for Govt's Inactions and Stupidty
