How is it slavery? Workers in India earn less than half of what they have to pay in America, but even freshers can make more than Rs 15000 per month working in call centres.

That is much higher than what the salaries were 10 years ago.

Totaly agree, you can still found the conventional peoples who have experiance like 10 yrs, 20 yrs but then they able to earn 10 to 20k, but in BPO, Call Centers, your 2yrs experience count alot, if you joined from 15k as fresher after 2yrs you will be able to earn 25k to 35, even this is what change the today's youth thinking.

by rajeev ranjan jha on Jun 28, 2007 01:37 PM  Permalink

Hi...everyone!!! though it sounds great at first site, but most of these PPO offering sites are bogus and do take advantage of innocent workers aspiring for their own venture. Beware of touts before jumping into the sea of PPO!!!

by brijesh mathur on Jun 28, 2007 01:06 PM  Permalink

The client makes a virtual comntact with the service provider for PPO, and the service provider deputes people to the customers in the assigned geographical territory to provide that service!!!
