Cricket minister for agriculture
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jun 07, 2007 08:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When self-sggrandizing, power-hungry crapheads like Pawar, who is more interested in his 'status' as cricket boss and party boss rather than being Agriculture Minister, what else can one expect, but indifference and total contempt for the farmers and their plight.
This UPA filth of a govt is ony interested in power, and will go to any lengths to achieve it, inducting criminals into govt nad even allowing these 'mighty' criminals to go scot free, like Lalu, Maya et al.
Heck, farmers could commit suicide by the millions and nothing wll be done about it - this UPA-Communist-Criminal govt couldn't care less! That's how much this stinking UPA-Communist-Criminal govt cares about the poor farmers.

I would say screw agriculture because most these farmers are OBC and they will demand reservation once they "prosper"

I am talkin right. Mind your language. Nehru, Indira gandi, Swaminathan are/were Brahmins/FC who helped the OBC farmers come up. Now these OBCs with money want reservation. Had it not been for the above three people, Lalu and Mulayam would be running naked in their village with starving bellies.
What I mean is OBCs should be grateful to Forwards and stop asking for reservation else there is no need for FCs to help farmers(OBC

national irrigation corporatiora- rain water harvesting
by sanket karmarkar on Jun 07, 2007 07:10 PM  Permalink

I had written to the prime ministers office to take the issue of water away from states and make it a central government one. on the lines of the national highway development corporation, a national irrigation corporation be set up.This will ensure rain water harvesting by creating artificial lakes to tap rain water, each lake of a designated size for a given area and population to tap rain water for agriculture and irrigation. done on an all india basis it will solve water shortage. Only central govt. can take it up on large scale national basis to make artificial lakes all over india.
