A company is meant to make profits...what if at the expense of lower salaries.MNC's are here today they might be gone tomorrow.L&T will stay here.Are people in TCS getting more than IBM & Accenture!!! I believe no...think about it!
Big chor company. Inside what happens nobody knows, All procurment guys are chors, have not seen such company. Engineering has been forced to follow the procurement chors
L&T runs a business and so long as it benefits its shareholders it has done well.I was an employee and am a shareholder.Its goals did not completely suit mine as an employee then buy they gave me huge profits as a shareholder.I think that is fair enough.

no doubt L&T is a good company if it is compared with companies like relience, tata, bharati , mahindra....
Actually Its not only L & T. Almost all Indian companies cheat young people. If you are at managerial level, you suck all the benifits at the cost of the team. No wonder young people will leave Indian companies and will join foreign MNCs. In general, the HR sucks for Indian cos.

Those days gone Mr Ravi. 70% IT worker employed in TCS, Wipro, Infy and many more comapre to MNCs counter part. Don't think all MNC employee are best and getting more salary.

I worked in L&T ECC and the only thing i remember it for is the rampant corruption, groupism (Tamils, Marathis, Andhraiites) and layers of protocol like a govt. company. I also remember it for practices like China clay tea cups for mamangers and plastic cups for engineers. It is doing good because of some good dedicated people, but as far as system and general rank and file is concerened it is nowhere.

L&T mints money ,gives back nothing to society. HR and middle management makes policies to make Engineers sweat more ,so that they don't have time to think.

What is the qualification required for a TECHNOLOGIST? According to you people working in sites are the only engineers...means civil engineers...sorry to disagree. L&T is doing a good job...and in such a big organisation, it is really easy to get lost...like people shouting here...the escapists.

what narayanmurthy has done for india. agar sirf employment ki baat kare to lnt ne bhi job di hai. agar pasie ki to narayanmurthi ne sirf badiya paise diye hai. ayashi wali life di hai. aur kuch nahi. apni pocket bhari hai sirf aur kuch nahi. ajit pandey sirf itna bata de ki aaj wo jis road par chalta hai wo bhi L&T banana janta hai aur use banaya hai.

Mr Manoj mehta may explain on why he is so loyal to L&T.Perhaps he is from HR of L&T.Not only L&T many reputed Indian engg cos it is these blood sucking people from HR and admin flusrish at the expence of toiling engineers.

Engineers are not meant to sit in AC rooms and do Clerical jobs. They are supposed to be on site always and toil hard. Thats why they are so well paid.

kuch logo ke kharab hone se tum poori L&T ko gali nahi de sakte ho. agar core engineer ho to welcome hai lnt mein 2 years kaam karo aur apni 4 saal ki engineering ki padai ko poora karo. market mein jaoge to phir pata chalega ki LNT brand kise kehte hai. Mech, civil, electrical engineers codes likhte likhte zindigi barbad kar rahe hai. jab bhi Rs ka daam kaam hoga to infy, tcs, etc software companies laat mar kar bhaga degi. phir bolna nahi ki meine bataya nahi..............ok
