This is a miraculous article written very proficiently along with the coverage of each and every aspect of Low cost hotels. it can very easily help a being to understand the reasons for inception of low cost hotels, their target and their strategies to keep the cost low.

Its an arduously written Article !!!

Nothing new, Taj called it Gateway earlier

I think your correspondent missed out an important fact that Taj had launched its first set of functional no frills hotels named "Gateway' in the early 90s. One of them was the Gateway Hotel on Residency Road in Bangalore. Ginger is just a rehashed version of the same.

I have stayed at Ginger bhubaneswar and found it very good.

especially the room decor and luch & dinner ... perfect for business trips

the cost went up recently

when i stayed in ginger pune, it was certainly 999 for a single room.

but the cost was raised later when i checked back for a colleague's folow up visit.

but i enjoyed the stay nevertheless.

i have stayed in bhubaneswar in ginger, probably one of the first few. i found it a very refreshing experience with total privacy

All through theses years indians wre/ are cheated by the hotliers with exorbitant prices and un necessary frills. Only aim so afr ahs been to fleece the custmer. We are badly in need of budget hotels that care for the need of cuistomers/ travellers
