When I came to live here (New York) 6 years ago I used to hate starbucks coffee with a passion...then I realized that there is much more to starbucks than just coffee..I tried those first and then graduated to coffee and now I like it...But I am still not used to decaf..too bitter..
But as a business they cannot wait for 6 years to break even. So as long as they cant offer indianized chai/coffee along with their trademark Starbucks brand, they better look for greener pasteurs outside of India.
Its nice to hear so many international brands are coming to india. I live in Miami,Florida and do frequent to Starbucks for a quikie. But when it comes to India people go to such cafe merely to show off not for realy enjoying a coffee. Moreover as many have already mentioned South Indian coffee is good too especialy considering the fact its so fairly priced. But since indian eco is booming these are new things to happen too

LOL...Hey, I frequent Miami, could you tell me which starbucks is it? South beach area may be? Just teasing homie
I have tried Starbucks but its not that good aapart from Chai Latte that they offer, instead i love our Cafe Cofee Day...SB has to comeup with indianaized taste.
I am in US right now as a tourist... Starbucks coffee is no where near my south indian filter coffee. Start bucks have to catch up a lot before bringing the flavour suitable for us.
