before i can go any farther i need some thing to protect my product and i want a percent of this product to be pass down through my generations of children
Instead of being a dumb back end ... the MS India team has made every attempt to innovate and stand out ... I am no fan of MS ... but I salute the spirit of the team here.
Yawn. Microsoft has already reached its plateau. Now the only way is down. No one now approves of the "rip and replace" concept of Microsoft anymore. Critical apps are being moved back either to Mainframes or moving to open source Unix.
Why do you think Bill Gates jumped ship and is concentrating on his foundation work now? He realises the truth.
mircosoft is for customer friendly products and sap for most unfriendly products. looks like microsoft's innovation is at dead end that its working with corrupt and cheat companies like sap. recetly sap was admonished in new york times for stealing oracle code.
Well, there is very little innovative about microsoft. All they do is buy little companies and do just enough to kill their competitors, meanwhile they also kill the innovation that is brought up with those little companies

Please do not use such words like "DIE". since, till today, only Microsoft is ruling the Desktop world though it has a lot of competition from unix flavoured operating systems. I am sure, in the coming future definitely Microsoft should change its attitude and open its source open to the world. Let us hope, these innovations helpful to the globe.

Whatever is the Case no doubt today 95% of Computer savy uses Microsoft. It is that people feel jeaulous of Microsoft, if anybody has a problem can use other OS' also. Acquiring of companies is a practice worldwide and there is no harm. It is not IT only where there is this practice but any industry you take, let it be stell, automobile, Media....

But he is right! Windows wasnt created by Microsoft. Microsoft's strength lies in its sales. It is an extremely dynamic, sales-driven organisation.
It is quite sure that only Microsoft could provide the vast of solutions to the all the human beings in the globe. The same thing had been proved by this article.
Microsoft has realised that it has to innovate and get into newer offerings. Their stable horses are coming to end of their PLCs as Google and other open source players are cutting into their staple products.
This leave MS with no other choice but to look at greener pastures and come out with game changing technologies. I for one am thrilled with technology applications like Surface.

How True. All those writing against Microsoft are forgetting to realize that its the India Development Center that the innovations have came from. Remember all those people saying that we do third grade jobs in India? I wonder what they have to say now
