Reservations, Reservations and Reservations.
by vasan Thatai on Jul 06, 2007 09:57 AM  Permalink

Its pity that such a qualified PM have to adopt such cheap practices to stay in power...after having achieved so much of success in the personal front.

22 months left for the next General Elections and now this Sardar will try for reservations in foreign jobs, foreign university education, Olypmics, Cricket ...as well.

All people belonging to the non - reserved category should remain united and bump him off in the next general elections. Now we should -

1) VOTE compulsarily

2) Ensure that our vote is not divided amongst several other opposition parties.

affirmative action
by SAM KIM on Jul 06, 2007 09:56 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Instead of wielding stick at Industry to do affirmative action at first govt should do affirmative action instead of throwing freebies and shedding crocadile tears for votes.

what is required from govt to these communities is proper fundamental education. let there be a schools of excelency for these groups run by govt free of cost for these grups. but govt intenstion is not real uplift but just votes and they dont want any responsibilty. they want industralists take up these responosibilty!.

if private people has to take care roads/electricity/education/ and now uplift of ppor people then y do we need govt system? ministers?

This PM has gone...!

Recently, there was a news report that Ashok Leyland had done a survey of the affirmative action in their organization.

They found that their affirmative action was more than the govt. stipulation.

The PM for all his education is living on imaginary planes.

The rupee is appreciating, and china and others are fast at our heels.

The sugar industry is asking for more ethanol usage - so that they can revive.

Politicians are grabbing land left right and cent.

7/11 train blasts victims are not being compensated properly. Actual expenses are not being paid.

A woman whose husband has chargesheets against him is being hoisted as president.

Wake up sir.

by RAKESH DOGRA on Jul 06, 2007 10:38 AM  Permalink
I truly agree with you. Those who become doctors or engineers on the basis of quota should be made to dispaly name of 'quota'along with the degreeon their name plates and hospitals appointing them should clearly display "quota" against their names so that public can decide whether to go to this doctor or not.
Politicians should be allowed to fight election only if they agree that they will get treatment and operated upon only in Govt.hospitals and by doctors who have their degree on basis of quota.

Railways posted 4.5 Bn USD Profits this year, 1.5 timer bigger then reliance, the biggest private sector compnay. Why B'coz this has been managed by a non Upper caste. Lalu Yadav, He did no magic, all he did is filled the vacant seats of SC/ST/OBC which were not filled by these UCs by giving excuse of merit and given the responsibilities to the newly recruited BCs. Shown few UCs door and given the middle management roles/Upper management roles to BCs. Now the question is if Lalu without increasing a single dime on Freight and IInd sleeper charges can trun around the sick railways, which these brahmins were trying to privatize few days back, then why this could not be achieved by Lalu's predecessors. The logic is simple guys, these UCs want to portray that reservation has crippled india and ailing govt sector is the proof of this. Privatize india into the Upper caste hands and protray the reservation for all this. So called BCs, particularly dalits, get the power by using these brahmins no problem, Mayawati formula is not a problem as well but just don't be pawn in the hands of these brahmins. Do something for india and bring our BCs brethern into indian forefront, this land belongs to us and not these FCs, these are Ban on india and are resource sucking leeches.

Current India Continued......

to bring about equality of poverty among
ants and grasshoppers.

Lalu Prasad allocates one free coach to Grasshoppers on all Indian
Railway Trains, aptly named as the 'Grasshopper Rath'.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the Prevention of Terrorism
Against Grasshoppers Act [POTAGA]", with effect from the beginning of the
winter.

Arjun Singh makes Special Reservation for GrassHopper in educational
Insititutions & in Govt Services.

The ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and, having nothing
left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government
and handed over to the grasshopper in a ceremony covered by NDTV.

Arundhati Roy calls it "a triumph of justice".
Lalu calls it 'Socialistic Justice'.
CPM calls it the 'revolutionary resurgence of the downtrodden'
Koffi Annan invites the grasshopper to address the UN General Assembly.

Many years later...The ant has since migrated to the US and set up a multi
billion dollar company in silicon valley.

100s of grasshoppers still die of starvation despite reservation
somewhere in India ...

As a result loosing lot of hard working ants and feeding the grasshoppers,
India is still a developing country......

We are paying for our own mistakes
by Vikrant Athavale on Jul 06, 2007 09:38 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Check this no wonder when the election comes the Congress will try and make it more hot to gain more votes.
We are paying for our own cost its time for all the educated people to cometogether and put this kind of people away from politics.
I still dont understand the word "Social" in congress.
Politicians please remember Lincon said "You cannot make the poor rich by making rich poor". If you have a problem on lower cast development provide them more oppurtunities not by grabbing capable people oppurtunity.
With the economic growth at almost 10% there are huge ways of doing it. By forcing the private sector goverment is just doing injustice to everyone. Start this is companies own by politicians for 50 years and if sucessful introduce it to every industry.
Please for god sake dont divide india on cast again.
Every vote counts so do vote next time and give it to the right people. We have to wake up as our own bottom is on fire now.

Shameless Goverment
by Rupesh on Jul 06, 2007 09:22 AM  Permalink

The government is putting its responsibility on the private sector.
Governemnt should stop all its selfish motives respect merit and the nation.

If we are paying these taxes then even the upper caste people should get a fair share of it.
Why should only the dalits get all form of facilites at the cost of upper caste people.
If these politicians are making election promises to the dalits then they should fulfil the
promises from their pockets. Why should non dalits pay for it.
This is nothing but a government sponsored, white collared terrorism. Before fighting
external terrorism we have to deal with these internal governement sponsored injustice,
inequality and biasing.
