from Salman India is the only country in the world where caste based reservation exist. It goes against the very concept of development. WHat we need to ensure is to impart free education and training based on economic factors and not on the basis of caste. Once economically backward people are educated and trained they will make a place for themselves. Reservation in pvt sector will only lead to caste war as recently happened in Rajasthan between meenas and gujjars. Manmohan ji think about the nation and not petty politics

abey dhakkan!! Its not about reservation.....its about industries' action towards their promise of taking action for the development of poor and needy. Waise bhi reservation ka danda laga tabhi ye baniye log kuch action lene ke liye raaji huye!! Otherwise all they know is to lobby for their SEZ and other benefits from government and do nothing for the society.
Already political system is corrupt. They dont have any right to ask for reservations in pvt sector. Performance counts and no SC/ST is denied oppurtunity. If they are capable they are also recruited and gets to the top. Just having reservations made the reserved category lazy. Survival of the fittest, not the dilution of the finess norms. Already the reservations in education and govt jobs are way for inequality. Why more of cruelty to the normal people.
all upper caste people have enjoyed all priviledges for hundreds of years. it is even going on now under different mask. all private company jobs with good salaries are for upper caste people. all upper caste people send their sons to USA/UK for education and settle there. while lower caste people are forced to study in cheap govt schools and work in low paying govt jobs. our sons can never go to foreign contries because of the discrimination. this govt is the real care taker of lower caste people. they are doing the right thing by creating opportunities for us in private sector. i request them to do more.

Where did you get this statistics about private company employment. You are a disillussioned ignorant who wants to stay where you are. Private companies look for talent, ability and competency. If you have any two of the above qualities, try for a job and you will definitely get it.
Incidentlly, it is only the ones with political clout in lower castes who go to the good colleges and make a harvest of these reservations. Others just remain where they are. You have to blame your own political leaders for this state of affairs, even after 60 years of independence.

Hi Dravid I am from the upper cast. I have a great urge to study, I dont have money. What will happene to people like me. If there is no oppurtunity. Everyday I see students availing SC and ST qouta coming in cars to my school. I feel like killing them for availing those fecilities inspite being finacially sound. This is how the system is. Atleast spare the PS from this reservation.
Why should jobs be reserved in private sector for so called 'lower castes'? You are lower caste only if you think you are.
It is even more shocking that being a Christian you support reservations for 'lower castes'. When are you going to realize this is all vote bank politics by all the stupid political parties.
If you work hard and believe in yourself no one can stop you. People just want to be lazy and get reservations.
I am an Indian Christian in case you are thinking I am bashing....and I take great pride in the fact that I didn't have/dont want reservations.......I literally had to slog my butt to get to where I am.......lot of things can be accomplished with hard work in life.
All these reservations are crap...tools for parties to exploit people. Only reservations for handicapped, blind, armed forces and some for economically poor make sense.....all this caste...and now religion is bull shit.

Dude, I am uppercast. When I was doing my education my family did not had money to send me for education to another city in Govt collage since we could not affored hostel fees. Because of you people forcing reservation, you limited chances. You must be dreaming that each uppercast person has tons of money to send their child to US/UK.
Why 33% reservation for women in elected bodies not implemented?..Its bcos they will lose their seats under thier a**. They cannot improve the education and now they collect the educational Cess also. Still they need reeservation. Some one ,pls kick these ass**les from this country
