Trap
by Vasim on Jan 21, 2007 10:36 AM  Permalink

Hi dont get into this trap, if one person tells that peices will go up then it will not if many tell it will go up, so thsi is a rumour mill, as u know India's backbone is rumour mill and false propanganda, that is how we survive, the property buble has already ruptured in USA, and it will not be Long before it reaches India, nothing there will be more suicides only of the innocent, and the rich and powerful allways have backups in Switzerland and america.
The vested intrests are trying hard to tell that the boom has just started as they are holding vast tracts of property acquired vith large sums. so beware.

Hyped Market
by suresh n on Jan 21, 2007 06:07 AM  Permalink

I am from Chennai & i feel the real estate price is just hyped in recent months. The rental returns you get is not as good to. If you buy a 3 bed room flat for 35 lakhs you would end up getting a maximum of 15000/month as rent. People say the value of ur property wuld go up, but i am not sure when this bubble will get burst. safe side: buy a home if you dont own one. Diversify your savings in mutual funds/gold. Tht would give you a better future. Dont fall on this real estate trap....
Take Care,

Real estate prices
by on Jan 21, 2007 04:46 AM  Permalink

Hi All, I wish to caution you about the real estate prices, it is allways rigged, i used to know a group of brokers in Bangalore who used to issue false advertisements wanted land/houses for wipro/infosys/tata/hp just to create a demand in the market, as the saying goes, if a man wants to sell something, and if there is no one to buy then he panics, but if you put him in a false hope he jacks the price and also refuses to sell, then there is a attificial shortage, all created by brokers be it baba realtor or jones lesalle, they belong to the same category.

Let us assume I have one crore in cash and i want to buy a apartment in bangalore, i will get a resonable apartment, but ig i were to rent it out i will only fet a rental return of 15,000, if i were to deposit the same with any bank at prevailing rates i would get 70,833 per month, is this better or buying is better, there is no basis for this madness, Beware i would say.

Vasim.
