by on Jan 18, 2007 10:13 AM  Permalink

Its always inspiring for a young gun like me for whom stars are the limit.i devoured the interview of Mukesh Ambani. Thanks for carrying such interviews.
Today , a day after i read the interview , i was eagerly waiting to read the concluding part of the interview only to find that you guys broke the promise and there was no concluding part of the interview of Mukesh Ambani. I hope you will keep your promises in future.

Ambanis are World Class!
by on Jan 18, 2007 09:14 AM  Permalink

What sets great men apart from mere mortals, is that they don't do different things but they do things differently.
Dhirubhari moulded not only the Share Market to accomadate the common man but also his sons to think differently and with a vision.
Mukesh Bhai is doing the same with Reliance empire and also with his kids. I remember he once said, Reliance is like a Centipede walking on 100 different legs. I am sure each leg would be a legend by itself!!
Rediff thanks for brining out this inspiring article. Please do bring out such exceptional articles atleast once a week.

Mukesh Ambani's Message
by SUNIL WADHWANI on Jan 18, 2007 08:33 AM  Permalink

It is nice to see that even though he is such a busy industrialist he takes time for the family and is giving the right upbringing for his children. Deserves to be a model.

admire dhirubhai for what he was..however his sons..anil and mukesh have undone everything their father did..maybe not in terms of money..but the bitter battle to split the company and stuff..it left a bad taste..shame on both mukesh and anil!

i am a 67 born working as an sr management employee in a very honest firm, gives me great staisfaction at the end of the day, i used to read dhirubhai every article in all business magazines since 8th std sounds wierd but thats true, knew a lot about him when i ws young the spirit of this person is very high(unbeatable), but evry human being is exposed to tough times if there is an archive would love to know how he managed his tough times because that finally made him and his family happen, i am sure there is great contribution from kokilaben in this.

mukesh ambani is silent but smart
by Hisham Kabir on Jan 17, 2007 11:23 PM  Permalink

if you think what you see, think again, its the financial results that matter than media performence of the brothers, while one is aggressive the elder is smarter to be more than aggressive but remains silent. a good inspiring story.
