Many of the economists and marketers suggest crating supply for demand. However, Ambaniji has rewritten the rules of business by creating supply before demand. He predicted that Indian demand is supressed and we need to do this. This has been one of the greatest contributions of the visinary.
Interesting to read the above article. If we can achieve milestones in progress of our Country with our own people, resources, assets and our own self -determination,nothing better than it.

I am not the fan of Reliance Industries or Dhirubhai Ambani, but ur reaction to this is not fair and unjustified. He had a guts to dream & materialise it too. People like u & me only can criticise in frustration. He was responsible for today's revolution in capital market.

Problem with people like you is that the only thing you have been conditioned to see is 'Negative'! Ambanis do not need any stories. They have proved their prowess to the entire world.
Yes, they have their own drawbacks also...but they pale in comparison to the pluses!

Dude tell me single company in this world who has grown without polluting anything. Some pollute environment some pollute society and some pollute something else. This is way how business works. Might be the clothes you wear made by company which has polluted environment better you stop wearing that and have leavs on your body. Can you do that? If yes then you have right to raise this concern if not then stay in queue.
I generally do not read many of the interviews of the rich & famous, as it would be presented in a very sweet and garnished manner. This link got forwarded in our company, & many my colleageues said, Anu, read it, you would rather miss a great autobiography. The more I went on reading, the more I made time to read it in my office hours, which is bad ofcourse. I was totally surprised to see such down to earth kind of mentality & the culture of bringing up. It is almost coinciding with whatever I am facing with my kids as well. We did try to give the similar kind of guidance as was given by the parents, but we often fail owing to many reasons. His appraoch to the life is simply mind blowing. We definitely need such kind of ICONS, considering that most of the current Indian population is in similar modes of life. We would be more interested in knowing their solutions adapted to inculcinate in our lives.
I could see vision in everything that Mr.Dirubhai Ambani had done in his lifetime. The way capital was raised and capacities were built over the years in a licence raj is definitely no less than Houdini's Unshackling from Chains and locks, though the analogy may not be entirely relevant. Dhirubhai's vision in grooming his sons to carry the torch is no less than that of his business achievements. We have often seen how business houses lose steam when there is a change of guard. Mr.Mukesh Ambani is a worthy son and i have seen how much he is in touch with ground realies when he talked of retailing and education. Often successful people are surrounded by a coterie who prevent info on ground level realities. Also his mention of farming and education is bang on target. As a person associated with education i could see the empathy he has for that sector. I would like to interact with him further if he is committed to doing something on this. I see a talent crunch happening which might critically cramp growth in the future , something which we had aniticipated 5 years earlier.
