Girls in Ambani family
by on Nov 29, 2007 12:46 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is great, he is building a big house; of course this house will be nice and many people's dream house. He provided services to millions and got percentage out of it. Perfectly fine.

I just have one question, when Sam Walton's wealth was divided; it seems that girls in his family got fairly equal share, now in Ambani's case, we hear only 2 brothers being part of this wealth. What about the daughters of Dhirubhai: Nina and Dipti? Why do we still have that problem in India? Why girls are not equally treated?

should nina and deepti so desired they could have compelled for a share. Law permits. It is only because of regard for their mother.

One more reason why the two Gujju brothers did not shout against the mother's verdict.

In Most Part Of The World ... Business Tycoons Devote Time To Social Causes.
by Indur Chhugani on Jul 05, 2007 02:28 PM  Permalink

In almost all advanced countries, successful business tycoons spent most of their time, working for social causes ... Why does that not happen in India.

Super successful people discocer, working for a social cause later in life, say after 60, gives them more happiness, that earning millons earlier. Mr Mukesh Ambani is too young yet ... let us hope, he follows the example of western countries later.

It's a mad proposal for india, but sure to succeed.

It is time the citizens of India, shed their timid attitude towards, disgusting conduct
of the Politicans, police, the bureacrats and the judiciary ... the confidence being felt within Indians, due to rapid economic progress, should also be felt in other areas... like
confidence to usher in change

What we require is a strong peoples movement to take on the arrogant, corrupt Government officials and politicians, Rogues in the Police force and the Judiciary... JOIN IN NOW. CITIZENS POLICING THE CORRUPT AND POLICE IS A MUST TODAY.

'we were fortunate that every thing was in its place.' Why not a venture for less-fortunate?
by on May 31, 2007 10:13 AM  Permalink

There are millions in our country suffering from physical disability and mental retardation. No good school for them. They just cheat and these poor boys and girls can not express themselves. My son is mentally retarded and I know the pang and the sufferings of these parents. Mr. Mukesh Ambani's biggest tribute to Late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani will be by opening a chain of 'Dhirubha Ambani Special Schools' for these children.Man Jit Singh Sandhu, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Himmatnagar 383001 (Gujarat) 09924540290 (02772-223370,222670)
