arrival of an international airport in visakhapatnam would be more helpul to the vizag people of vizag.since it is the second largest city in the state ,fmore investors would come into vizag making it a larger city and soon a metropolitan city also
I agree with the potential of Vizag...but everyone is forgetting the crucial thing which is paralysing the growth of this beautiful city...LACK of PROPER AIRPORT...the runway is so small that biggger flights can't land...there is not night landing...the fog during winter and rainy season causes the airport to remain virtually closed for days together....the bigger reason for likes of Volkswagen and others to NOT CHOOSE Vizag was lack of direction in air connection. Instaed of blaming ploiticians and others, the Vizagites should take it upon themselves to lobby for a better airport, which would ultimately result in the MNC's, IT Coz and others to make VIZAG their natural choice.
Hi Raju, What you wrote is good! But, instead of cursing the current politicians who're elected by you & me & our families, can u think of any alternative way. Why can't you & me kind of persons join in the politics and change it how you want to be like..I think its possible but only when we all stand United and ur parents & my parents support us..I really feel that BE A CHANGE BEFORE YOU CHANGE SOMEBODY... Guys, Keep yourself cool. People started cursing our politicians for their wrong doings towards Vizag city but who elected those politicians. It is you & me only. I know that Vizag is going to be a happening place and even better than Hyderabad. But, I'm sure that soon Vizag will become like Hyderabad with densely populated, more polluted, frequent Traffic Jams and all above CRIMES/Thrust for MONEY. Can we guys really ever think of a Healthy City, Non-Polluted City & a healthy populated city etc etc.. We really need to build cities where all the people live happily. Lets join our hands together to make every Indian City great! ITS TIME TO WAKE UP & STOP NOT until our country proves "WE ARE THE BEST"!

Mr Babu, Vizaag is a beautiful city, I totally agree with you.But don't dare to compare with Hyderabad.Vizaag will take decades to come upto the level of Hyderabad.Just becoz u got a Tourist spot dosen't mean that within a day or two Vizaag will become far better than Hyderabad.Every city has its own greatness.
Though vizag is an excellent place it is the most polluted too,the ground water levels are already shrunk the ecological damage these indudustries have done could be frightning. let us not rape the nature further,bye vizag
Vizag is cool. We love vizag. It is a gateway to east Asia and it is Andhra Goa with wonderful beaches. That is why it is called city of destiny.. Our politicians are useless guys and neglected this beautiful city and dumped all the money in hyderabad. Hyderabad is slowly becoming crowdy and polluted.. Time to develop vizag as IT and medical tourism hub.. Let us tel these idiot politicians to some good work here

This is true. We have to join in this kind of things. Everybody can talk. But only some people can do or support atleast.
It will require lots of will and effort from the public and government to make the city of destiny a second IT city of Andhra Pradesh. I think the Govt needs to learn a lot from its neighbours from its failure to get in Rols - Royce to Vizag. We can only hope the city's development when the wishes of the contractors and politians are kept in Sync with the development of this mighly place.
Visakhapatnam is one of the best places to be, in India. The city, ensconced in the nature's lap with breathtaking scenaries and pleasant environment is like paradise on earth.However, it hasn't received the recognition it deserved and there is huge potential untapped, be it in industrial or education sector. With the recognition of its potential as a great place to invest, work and live, it has to be ensured that the ecology is undisturbed.
BEING IN VIZAG FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS I KNEW THIS WOULD BE NOTHING FOR A WONDERFULL CITY OF DESTINY.BEING A KERALITE AND NOW AN NRI I WOULD LIKE TO INVEST MORE IN VIZAG .YES VIZAG YOU WOULD CERTAINLY BE KNOWN TO THE WHOLE WORLD.LETS ALSO NOT LOOSE ITS NATURE AND THE BEAUTY.......GO ON MY BEST FRIEND VIZAG.
