Better check out Ahmedabad- Gandhinagar and its infrastructure before commenting on final world. It may not have mature IT/ITes industry and biggest corporates but world class infrastructure and vibrant govt. Its just matter of time that this twin cities develops into fastest growin urban destination.
Pune was never a planned city and its not at all afford the influx of more ppl and more real estate development. Despite taking care of basic issues like roads, traffic, water etc. its ridiculous to go for more expansion. The city is not at all prepared for all this. Just like any other city in India.
Real estate prices aare not true indicator of development of cities? Punes infrastructure is crumbling and there is problem in neaarly all basic needs like water, electricity, roads etc..
Dont you think these are far more important factors then having malls , multiplexes and big industrial names?
