Since he took over the reins of the Tata Group in 1991, Mr Ratan N. Tata has achieved a makeover of far reaching dimensions. From a relatively unwieldy conglomerate, Tata has now changed the complexion of the Group to make it more nimble-footed and cohesive. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is set to become the world%u2019s largest provider of end-to-end technology solutions; Tata Tea%u2019s acquisition of the Tetley brand in UK makes it the world%u2019s second largest tea marketer; Tata Steel is one of the world%u2019s lowest cost steel makers and Tata Motors, traditionally a truck-maker, is today delivering the best selling passenger cars like the Sumo and Indica.TATA Group will march ahead in all spheres of industrialization under the leadership of Ratan N.Tataji. I wish and pray for more than a century life, unrivelled success And everlasting reputation so that Ratan N.Tata will further advance Industrialisation and economic prosperity of the country. Many happy returns of the day.

TATA's must be credited with the first for corporate social responsibility and welfare planning. They seem to be carrying that on and Mr Ratan TATA has been a true gift to our country esp at a time when opportunistic MNC's and Corporates are only looking at bottom lines and profits.
Wishing the TATA's & thanking them for their contribution. Mr RATAN TATA - A SPECIAL.
YOU HAVE DONE WONDERFUL REVOLUTION IN INDIAN INDUSTRIES. PLEASE DO REVOLUTION IN INDIAN POLITICS. SO, YOU ARE THEREFORE REQUESTED TO ENTER OUR POLITICS AFTER RETIREMENT FROM TATA INDUSTRIES. PLEASE THINK IT OVER AND TAKE POSITIVE DECISION.

u fool first let him become the president of tata industries and found a succedor for the future
I was reading the comments and was surprised and delighted to find so many well wishers for Sir Ratan Tata. He was maintained his reputation with his good work. Can any other industrialist in today's India expect so many blessing and wishes coming from common people who have nothing to do with his business and wealth? Long live Ratan Tata. Young generation of India should accept him as a role model rather than worshiping film stars. Talking of film star, I really hope someone would make a film about Ratan Tata's life. It surely won't be a rosy love story like Guru since Ratan Tata remained single all his life.
You made the world a better place to live, by implementing various schemes for poor and the downtrodden, but at the same time lifting the economy of the country to a very high.As a human being you did your job well .The Creator of this world is happy that he choose your ancestors and you to execute his desires, which you did it 100%. Other business tycoons are just filling there kitty and living a lavish and irrelevant and irresponsible lifestyle which is completely out of god's purposes.
The Country is proud of Ratan Tata. Uncountable are the gifts he has poured out to the country. He is as great a visionary as his illustrious forebear Jamshedji Nausheervanjee Tata who himself must be ranked among the"Greats" of Indians of all times. A Parsi of Iranian descent the Tatas have shown remarkable foresight in starting not only the first Steel Factory but also the Indian Instt of Sciences, Tata Instt of Fundamental Research etc .Their locations all over India is another very important feature. Their commitment to social causes and poverty alleviation programmes when no Economist was talking about them or to Futurology in starting institututions of Fundamental Research show their exceptional initiatives. Most of all their "humanness" is touching. Ratan Tata has made every Indian lift up his head.May God Bless him and may their Tribe increase.
Tata Group is a unique institution. It is a Trust and Ratan Tata is a Trustee. Ratan Tata should continue to lead the Tata Group as long as his health permits him. The media should not put pressure on Ratan, when shareholders are not doing - why should the media has no business to interfere.
