May God give you good health great dreams and continued courage to wade through the mess--- economic , political, social , ethical, administrative---- we are in. Tata group's history is hostory of modern India. many industrialiists have come up and grown done well and done proud to the country, but with out TATA we would not have been were we are now. your ethical and socialistic mindset has no parallel. India is Tata and TATA is India. God bless you. Many many many happy returns of the day.

with most profound respect and love

If Ratan Tata, Mukhesh Ambani and other wealthiest were the greatest scientists our nation had EVER produced, perhaps there would be a reason to consider them jewels. But they are not scientists at all... The richest people may be very happy since they don't have to suffer, but it's wrong to call them jewels.

Honourable Shri Ratan Tata-India's Jewel.
by anagh madhavan on Jan 07, 2008 09:10 AM  Permalink

A Very Happy B'day to Mr.Ratan Tata.
I have 3 generation service with Tata's,and there is no comparison with the house of Tata's,there is no parellel nor one can compare them with any of the existing Industrial group.
Why Shri Ratan Tata should not be coffered with a "Bharat Ratna",He is not there merely to do business and make profit but Tata's are a caring company of their employees and help the goverment in generating wealth for the nation.
Congratulations Mr.Ratan Tata.

A the outset, I profoundly Thank the Wtiter who have brought written this Article and the Web Management who has hosted this Message on the Net.
I had pleasure of Viewing on TV, the Interview given by the Legend, Late JRD TAta in early Nineties, to Pritish Nandi, and braodcasted under the Title - 'WIN WIN ...." in the Prime Time Slot at 9.30 PM.

Again, I had the pleasure of Reading , may be a decade back, in a Business Magazine - about Mr. Ratan Tata and real day's activity while travelling in the Flight on long haul.

Again I had the pleasure of reading about Late Legend, Mr. Jamshedji, in his centenary year.

There are many to write like this.

Really amazing.

I had great respect to the above Legends and Mr.Ratan Tata and also the Tata Group. I salute the above Legends. them with reverence.

i am delighted and have pleasure to fully agree and endorse the views expressed by the people on this nmessage board - M/s Sanjay Sen Choudhury, Vishnuhari, Bhupinder Sing,AMARNATH KT, Dr.A.Jagadeesh, Raj, Dhorabh, hgs iyer, Vishwas/Jeff and others who have joined on this Board.

As a common man, I can only pray to God to bless Mr Ratan Tata, long life, health and unsatiable desire to do more.

May the Tribe - like Late Jamshedji , Late Jeh Ji and Mr. Ratan Tata - increase on the Earth.

-B.RAMA MOHAN REDDY, HYDERABAD

Pete Engardio's indepth article on Ratan Tata gives us an insight into the multifaceted Ratan Tata. Ratan Tata is the one single Indian I admire most & have the deepest regards for. I'd gladly do anything in return for being allowed to spend just one day with this man, to quietly observe how he spends his hours in a day & assist him inobtrusively in whatever he does in a day, even if I have to polish his shoes or make breakfast for him to save his time so that he can do more in a day... That's how much I admire & have respect for this man.
To share something more with you all... I was tossing in bed worrying about a few projects that I am handling & also about a few good ones that have come my way recently & then the visual of Ratan Tata sitting in the cockpit of a super-sonic came to my mind.... I jumped out of bed to wake up my laptop on standby & came across this eye-opening article.... Now I can keep working till I'm done....
Look forward to Ratan's taking over of the Jaguar & Land Rover, wishing him the best.

TATA is a great Indian.
by Vishnuhari on Jan 07, 2008 02:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I agree TATA has been a true Indian. He belongs to PARSI Community. We Hindus gave them shelter when Muslims were killing them in Persia and they have paid us back by being contributing , peaceful and good citizens of India.

TATA is no exception to the good Indian citizens of Parsi community.

If only other incomers and people of other religions remembered the shelter, respect and comfort we Hindus have given them and allowed them to prosper, and tried to become good citizens of India rather than blowing our people and temples and declaring murderers as Shaeeds or converting our poor in name of service, We would have been a much better country.

But some people are thankful, and some are just thankless selfish idiots.
