Those who are investing and running from pillar to post after committing oneself in such projects are immature or fleecing their or families hard-earned money. If one has to go on holidaying book accommodatio and tickets with travels and enjoy it rather than getting seduced with such marketing gimmicks and building up your blood pressure.
Club Mahindra is Chor, they fool people by inviting for an Seminar with free lunch or dinner and they literally force you to become a member. Thanks god ... i escape It is not at all worth.
I lost around 10k with club mahindra. I saw a paper ad and found it interesting and called the club mahindra people, one person came to my office and discussed about various benefits etc..and he asked if he could see my credit card for certain details, later he said he will take an initial 18k from the card and the rest will be in installments for which he will arrange for a loan from some bank. and they also promised of a free vacation and sony gift coupon. once i got the membership kit, i learnt that it is not one time payment, every year i have to pay close to 5k which is also not fixed! and this information was never disclosed to me by the sales guy!, so i fought and got back partial amount, and then they started deducting money from my credit card for the EMI, i called my credit card people to stop the transaction, but they said you have to speak to club mahindra!!, so immediately i said i lost card, then they said ok we will close the card!!thats how i got rid of club mahindra from my life!! very bad experience with club mahindra!
If you plan a bigger holiday then make it smooth with shorter destinations (ex:Mumbai-Khandala),(Chennai-OOTY).Classify and keep a clear purpose of holidays - Temple Trip,Forest trip,Visiting Relatives,Visting Sea & Resorts.See to it they are short.For Long Trips say Chennai-Jammu&Kashmir,Mumbai to Shimla/Assam go for a genenunine transport like Trains,Flight(Indian,Goverment Planes),Hotels Midsized branded hotels and food very normal chapathi and plain veg.Always have a note on the Police,Ambulance of that place.Try visiting relatives homes, they will be happy too but buy them something before you land in.Make it a notepad calculating each and every of your expense if possible make a checklist.Cox and Kings are very good in this case.Enjoy Holidays.
I wa on the verge of concluding a deal with Club Mahindra for a 25 year Time Share when I came across this article. Several friends had tried to talk me out of going in for this 25 year locked in period. I guess this article did more than any of them.
Please advise me how can I dispose of this time share. The Royal Goan is non cooperative in helping us to get the refund while they busy recruiting new members enmasse.
there should be some sort of regulation on this concept. Club mahindra fellows do not offer any clear rule book at the time of hardselling the concept. they do not tell about annual maintenance fee, airport pickup fee etc at the time of sale, which is simple case of cheating. I suggest the willing people to invest that money in a mutual fund or some other instrument and use that money for holidaying instead of becoming paid slaves to club mahindra. Think twice before a phone call from club mahindra comes.....NEVER NEVER NEVER to this offer please... Help others by spreading this message....
I too was thinking of getting in touch with these clubs because of there branding. Any how after going thorough the comments, I will never ever think of getting a membership.
