Thanks NRIs for your gracious foriegn exchange donations
by RAVI PRAKASH on Dec 18, 2007 04:48 PM  Permalink

Indian economy is skyrocketing due to your efforts. We cant imagine india without NRIs and their foreign exchange dollars. We would be living in severe poverty with literally begging bangladesh and pakistan for funds.

MY heartwarming thanks for what you people are doing for your mother country.we love you.

Today, Vikram Pandit is a big Icon, representing India. It is good to understand his background and where he comes from. He will be an inspiration to many young Indians. Just as we read biographies of other leaders, Vikram Pandit has made his place.

Too much
by Jayesh Menon on Dec 18, 2007 04:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think we are dragging Vikram Pandit a little too much. Whatever he had done and achieved was for himself and for a foriegn company/country. Had he been instrumental in improving India in any ways, rediff was justified using so much of webspace for him. Each individual who stays in India pay his valuable earning to the development of India by way of VAT, Excise, Income Tax. These NRIs work for themselves and some foriegn country and is unduely respected here. We may have curruption, dirty politics and financial inequality but whoever lives here and works here should be more respected than these NRIs.

The NRI give the country lot of foreign exchange if more no. of talented people of the country with limitted jobs work in other well off countries, they contibute to the country thru remittences, check the status of Kerela state, vast majority works in Gulf, Punjab vas majority work in Canada and UK, see Gurat vast majority is in US and UK, they all send remitences back to the country which strengthens a country in world economy that is what India is trying by opening up, its eyeing foreign co. to set up production bases in India and when u work for companies like HLL, L&T, PUNJLLOYD, BATA, and consumes products like SURF, LUX, etc u r actually doing it for and helping a british co. A person working in India for Govt job is mostly corrupt and works only for month end salary, out of 10 only one knows the work and he is made to overwork by other nine and the other nine take the credit of work done by 1.

Mr. Deshmukh,
Whatever these people achieve nothing benefiting your country. Atleast not enough to have so much of ga ga. I would prefer Indians who work for India. Hope you get your mindset out of regionalisation. A fool can not understand this.

Hi Jayesh,
You know what nri really means?.....Why He works outside INDIA ?? Do you know the pain he get daily for being far from his family ??...Do you have any idea of this ...??

You just know to blame peoples for the things which you cant be able to do ...I can see jealous in your message for not being a NRI ...

We NRI send remmittance to INDIA from our hard working .....We get extra money for the pain we take daily personally.....
You know NRI not even send money through Remitt. but they also increase GDP of INDIA by investing in shares and Land in INDIA....

I m sending this messg....Just to teach you the IMPORTANCE of NRI in INDIA.......

We NRI dont take jobs abroad by our wish its the circumstances and they money value which make us work there ....

Got that BABY stop Messg. about the matter which you dont know...Ok
