When Vicky is saying that prices in East Bangalore have seen a drop from 3100 to 2100/sq ft, he is misleading people as this information is completely wrong as flats in Whitefield continue to be sold at a price of 3300-3800/sq.ft or even higher (Vaswani's Pinnacle, Sobha Rose and Water wood are some of the examples). I think he is just trying to get Bangalore back in to limelight after many MNCs and people have started deserting Bangalore due to traffic and political reasons. Good try Vicky....but people arent fools these days.

It is not because of traffic and political reasons. In US housing industry is facing problems.Highest houses are available in the last fifty years.Added to this rupee is appreciating .This will have direct bearing on software companies in bangalore.Since highest no. of software companies are in bangalore if this rupee appreciation continues real estate prices will drop to realistic values and it will augar good to non IT common man. To cover up this one this article is made expecting outsiders will come and invest
At present India Economy is very healthy, Property market in India will never go down correction of 10% to 20% is a normal market trend. Property market in US and UK are going down because 50% of house buyers in US & UK are outsiders foreign Investors. Inverters only invest in properties if country Economy is healthy else investor start to find new markets. Indian home buyers are 100% Indian citizen's and NRI's because foreigners can't buy house in India.

At present the senario is people who allready owns a house are still buying a appt just for the sake of doubling the amount he/she invest on it and these can be seen very easily on the new projects where the appartment are purchased and they are kept vacant for again reselling at higher price. So flat are purchased only by NRI's and business man who want to reap profits by fooling the middle income group.
hope the decline trend applies to other cities where the price has soared. pune, suburbs of mumbai has seen steep rise over last couple of years. with more constructions coming in these areas, a bangalore is certain to happen in these places too.
one good news for all of you.pls wait & watch.prices are going to be stabilised soon.as you may know the govt in maharashtra is going to introduce ulca soon.

Those who consider patriotism to be fun are really mentally sick.
Do realise that Christians are great but these FOREIGN MISSIONARIES are out to destroy everyone. Their affinity is with some country outside India. Wake up brothers and sisters.

Sitting in metropolitan cities you will never know them.
Go to the Churches in Tea Gardens in Assam. You will find many............ involved in spreading hatred.
We blame the BJP for this but what about our own people ?

Mr. Joseph,
Like the other replies suggest you seem to be very much disoriented person in your thinking. It is so simple the news is about the 'real estate debacle' in Bangalore and you are blabbering about a topic which you seem to know very little. Your analysis of the situation in North East shows how foolish you are. You sound like a most disillusioned man. The 101% truth you are claiming is 101% lie and a blatant blame on the people who are working for and with the tribals in the North East. Basic question how many days have you lived in NE? Do you really understand the problem of the people there? If only you spend little time with them you will know what it takes to be NE, who is it at fault, is it the missionaries or the political Babu's in India? I request you to read some books on NE history to get yourself acquainted with the situation and then make a statement of this sort. Next time when you make a comment like this first you should make an effort to know the ground reality so that your statements carry credibility. I suggest, you stop making yourself a FOOL OF AN ASS and begin reading history of NE and grow your knowledge. NE is a beautiful place with beautiful and good people. Keep your irresponsible comments to yourself and sleep with them. Better luck next time Joe, Welcome to North East - A land of beautiful life. God bless you.

It is a night mare for me just after one year of my purchase of property in Bangalore. It was boom when I bought the property in South Bangalore after selling my golden like property in Tamilnadu. It was recommended to me by most of my relatives to do so. I was expecting at least 25% increase in one year but for my illuck, it has come down by 27% of the vlaue I paid due to reasons inexplicable.

If Bangalore and Kannadigas are that bad, why do people like you from other states want to go and live and work there? I am a Tamilian by mother tounge, our ancestors migrated to Karnataka 100s of years ago; I am a Kannadiga too.
