RE:RACIST AND ARROGANT BEHAVIOR OF SOME KOLKATTANS REVEALED HERE...
by MGR Fan on Dec 12, 2007 12:22 PM  Permalink
Communists are some of the most racist minded people, though they pretend to be for human equality outside.

The bengal CPM supporters are the most narrow minded people in India. Come out of Bengal of 2007, come to South India - Karnataka, AP, TamilNadu, Kerala and you will know what culture is.

If Culture is about Hartals, Bandhs, strikes, avoiding work and glorifying Mao, Stalin and Che Guvera, I prefer to be uncultured.

by Raja Basu on Dec 15, 2007 06:59 PM  Permalink
some examples of ur culture -

Tamil Nadu's CM's son, a goon, got his people to burn down a newspaper office, due to some unpleasent report.

A former lady CM's supporters had burnt down a bus full of colleage students.

Andhra Pradesh is getting more and more under the influence of Naxalites.

In Karnataka, they banned English medium schools.

Idiot, do not pelt stones at others while u r staying at a glass house.

And as far as racism is concerned, South Indian racism is famous acroos the world. Tamil Nadu CM supports the Tamil Tigers only because they r Tamils. He also supports the ethnic Indians of Malaysia simply because they r mainly Tamils.

Raja. Get your facts right. Please note that English is compulsory from standard 1 in all schools in Karnataka including Kannada medium schools . People of Karnataka can speak better english than Bengalis. Karnataka, Tamil nadu & Andhra pradesh are way ahead of West Bengal in Industries. You know that how many Bengalis are coming to settle down in Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai everyday. You are talking about Naxalism & that evil cult started in West Bengal. Kokata has no future unless there is a revolution. Bengalis should come out of the thinking that they are only intelligent, only there language is good etc or else you will be left much behind than the rest if Indians. Respect other languages & culture.

Dear Mr. Abdul Salam,
first of all, I must agree with you in few points(though I am also a bengali)-that-A lot of Bengalis are coming to settle down in Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai everyday. But question is Why?It has two answers,like-
1)Bengalies don't have job in their own land!!
2)Bengalies are able to prove themselves better choice for industries over the localites, so only employers take them in job.
Now you are saying ans-1
others(like me also) are saying ans-2.
Now , tell me, who is wrong and where?
But, without keeping any vanity, I must say that my Bengal has poverty and more population than others.it's the main reason.

"Bengalis should come out of the thinking that they are only intelligent, only there language is good etc "-I strongly object,we can't forget that- Ramanujan , H.G.Khorana, chandrashekar, V.Anand, Sachin, RajKapur, Lata etc are all genious, but not Bengali. But the problem is You asked them also, they would have said-"yea, that's the fact about the Bengalies"!!

any way, If you think that my(bengalis') english knowledge is less than the standards(kannada), please don't hesitate to put reply. We were ever thirsty for knowledge and still like to learn more.:)

you seem to be unnecessarily worried about kolkata. this articles shows you are wrong. your comment "People of Karnataka can speak better english than Bengalis" is absolutely rubbish. why are you trying to dilute calcutta's achievement? if you have anything to say why not file a suit against the writer of this article, instead of trying to forward foolish arguement.

One need not be a BJP man to point out the reality. Kolkatta was a wonderful city and in 1950s Kolkatta was having 20% of India's industries. last 30 years the city is reduced to a non entity thanks to 30 years of CPM rule. If you have unlimited money and property and want to enjoy and while away time and have a govt job, Kolkatta is the place. For millions of Bengalis who are not blessed with wealth and property and want to work hard, Kolkatta is a place not to be.

PS - After 2011, Kolkatta will become a better place. CPM will be shown the door soon.

That was when Kolkatta had work culture and ruled by governments that were not communist.

Since 1970s, Kolkatta has been on decay and that is 100% due to the wonderful rule of CPM.

nandigram has to do with panchayat elections and nothing more.

i am an apolitical person. cpim contributed lot in desindustrializing the state. current cm is however, very pragmatic and has been voted no.1 industry friendly by industry association! instead, if anybody wants to pass on the rein to mamata who vows to demolish tata motors factory, it reveals his hidden agenda against bengal. actually people like MGR fan who wants 100% SC ST reservation are people who do not want industrial progress in bengal.

Ahmedabad is an underestimated Gem
by on Dec 12, 2007 05:09 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

For those of you that like anecdotal evidence, I have lived in Melbourne for the last 12 years working for Oracle Corp. In Jan '08 I am relocating to Ahmedabad to take up a senior role in a Software company there.

Without comparing to other cities... I think Ahmedabad's steady progress over the last 8 years has resulted in a transformation of sorts. I've visited many cities in India recently and I truly believe that A'bad is the space to watch for the next decade.

The entrepreneurial flare of the Amdavadis is a phenomenon that should be replicated across this wonderful country of ours!!

Yes... only thing is law and order should be maintained in the city and 2002 should not be repeated. If law and order is maintained well, Ahmedabad will be like dubai or singapore in 30-40 years.

Gujarat is the hotspot!!!
by hehe haha on Dec 12, 2007 02:56 AM  Permalink

Hello Everyone,

I am an amdavadi residing outside India for now. Ahmedabad, infact many other places in Gujarat are hotspots due to cheap land and living expenses. Huge number of youngsters are moving to places like Banglore, Mumbai, Hydrabad, Canada, US, UK, australia and others mainly due to the fact that they dont get jobs like other metro's in India. So they have no choice but to depart from their families or make less money by staying in Gujarat. Why not give Gujarat the same lime light and make sure it progresses just like the metro's when Gujarat has been always the centre point for business???

Please help Gujarat grow as well.

Thank you.

The bengal gave birth to great people when it was not ruled by CPM.

Tell me what were the great people who were born and lived in bengal in the 30 years of CPM rule?

Answer is NO ONE.

Kolkota and business?

It does not matter how well the infrastructure in Kolkota is. Business and communism do not go hand in hand. Two words come to mind: unionization and perpetual bandhs.

Actually the problem is deeper. The CPM govt is telling non stop to its people that life is not about working hard, but about debating, finding fault, drinking, dancing and watching b oring art films.

The entire culture of CPM Cult (the JNU cult) is to debase hard work and glorify wasting time, reading and debating meaningless works of mass killers like Mao, Stalin or Castro .

Tell me, how can a society that glorifies mass murderers and villifies working hard ever progress. The bengalis have been victimised by the 30 year tyranny of CPM. The only people benefiting from CPM rule are the elite who have lots of property and parental wealth (outside the statE) and who want to enjoy life at expense of others.

The city that gave 4 nobel winners is having 4 million illiterates, mostly living in slums. Thanks to 30 year of CPM rule.

I support you MGR for this point.
The dark era of Bengal is this last 30years and that too for CPIM leaders' wrong visionary. They taught people of Bengal "What is your right", but missed to teach "what is your duties".
Though , few things are there which is really good contribution from CPIM.But majorly, They have looted the state for their party purpose.two ways peopel do mistakes.-
1> people from outside this state think wrongly about Communism , by seeing these poor CPIM fellows.(which is actually opposite)
2>people with in this state have a taste and respect for Communism(I do also) but make a mistake by accepting CPIM as true part of Communism...(I a not!).
If they are Communist, They couldn't make Nandigram Massacre on 14th March,07.
Friends, Do you all know, 14th March is the Date of death of KARL MARX!!!how ironical?right?!
