RLIC is providing SA 10 lakh at the age 24 for term 30 years @ 2570/-. Then how come your data is correct. Please dont give such duff gen to the people. You are a very very responsible site and I hope you will never repeat this in the future.

How have published the same stale and incorrect data once again. You require to verify from all insurance companies before identifying the lowest. You are not supposed to mislead your readers.

Why Cheapest Plans of other insurer (like LIC) are not included
by Vishnu Dev on Dec 16, 2007 03:13 PM  Permalink

It is unfortunate that the Article does not include the Cheapest Premium Plans.

Check the Premium for Plans 1.Anmol Jeevan - I 2.Amulya Jeevan.

It would be nice, if rediff really do some analysis before publishing article like this. Otherwise the article should provide good information to the people. Let the premium by all the insurance company be inlcuded for a better understanding.

Dont limit the scope of the Article to certain companies. It will not provide thorough idea about the intention of the author to the fellow readers.

LIC is the best cheapest and reliable. Get term plan which cover every thing, accidental death, permanent disability critical illness etc etc.

No agent wants u to take term insurance
by Amit Anand Agrahari on Dec 16, 2007 11:30 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ask any agent about the term plan and he will simply try to avoid it. They are more interested in ULIPs or Money back plans as these plans fetch them more commission.
I have taken one term plan from Max New York and one from LIC. LIC plan is a bit costlier but only LIC has got 35 years term. for Rs 25 lakh term for 35 years I am paying 8875/ PA. My age is 27. LIC also dont offer Accidental Death Benefit.
I will advice every body to go for Term Plan ELSS . Its a great combination.

My Dear the term plan offered by LIC do includes ACCIDENT COVER and Permanent Disability Benefit Due to Accident upto a Maximum of INR 50,00,000. You might have chosen the Plan without Accident Benefit Cover. Pls Check it. Now also you can include the accident benefit by paying the extra premium @ Re 1/'000 SA.
