RE:'We don't need Reliance'
by Mitesh Pathak on Aug 24, 2007 06:07 PM  Permalink
I agree. To enterprise is constitutional right. Narrow or no minded politicians can black-mail the entire system in their own favour & quoting a national company as an outsider? Who will explain them Indianness?

System is gone to dogs.

You are absolutely right. It is wrong to assume that companies like Reliance will increase the price after some time; they'll have competition from others. These ideotic politicians (they are rightly described as "headless chicken") do not let people have choices. Commies in Kerala are equally destructive. They all want India to remain in the middle ages foe ever!!

Not Politicians. Every vote back is making politicians dance to their tunes. Be it minority or caste based voters.
We need stronger politicians. The once we have now are spineless.

Message for Dr S Ramadoss
by Friendly OBC on Aug 24, 2007 05:41 PM  Permalink

Dear Dr S Ramadoss,

Reliance or any other entity has as much a right to do business in any part of India as you or your cirlce of politicians have to breathe. The constitution guaratees your right to life...and it equally guarantees the right of others to conuduct business.

Further, have you ever thought about rights of the buyers - who in number far exceed the unorganized and inefficient (and also chearing oriented) small time retailers?

Are you not going to help your impoverished Tamil brethren in having a chance at buying with dignity...the same dignity that you preserve for yourself with your illegally obtained assets (houses, cars and foreign currency accounts in third party names).

Wishing you end of your career in disruptive, negative and illegal politics. Yes, both Tamil Nadu and the country do not need you!

Yours faithfully,
