muncipality coolies is for more better than these IT coolies at least he contributes for cleaning our land clean....what abt these IT coolies..for them every thing is west.... ofcourse they earn some dollars that is gud for countries foreign exchange bt at the same time it is inducing bad impact on other fields of science, i would argue IT is a true science and that too none of indian companies are in R&D that means just copy the knowledge of others........now guess what indian coolies is better or coolie one who works for west is better hahahahhahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, i know some one wil ask my profession, i m business man....hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

The Real Story -- 90% of infy guys keep cribbing about going to office until they get an onsite opportunity. I have been there and have experienced how pathetic infy life is (apart from the gym and the library they provide). I really appreciate ppl hu dont follow the crowd and join places apart frm IT!! No doubt infy as a company has done wonders but joining infy with a career point of view is a waste. Want a fantastic gym and a high class library and a swimming pool and end of the day want to go to US and put ur pics in orkut, then join infy.

every one running behind IT as sheep that follows anothere sheep.... der is scarcity for scientists in basics sciences, scarcity of engineers for ISRO, and people who is working in R & D in these field are not so much talented, talent pool is looted bt these IT companies to do the coolie of west, future is threatning for india,,,,,,,,
20 million people suffering from floods in bihar, 4000 crores RS lost in karnataka due to heavy rain, y dont der is any topic on plights of these two states... more over this topic has been already posted couple of days back..... isn'nt rediff suckkks here... y this undue importance for IT???????????????
At infosys official work hr is 8.5 that they charge to client. Isn't it illegal as per ILO / UN law to make some one officialy work more than 8hrs without overtime?

No, the limit is 45 hrs a week. And over that employee cannot be forced to work. But if they are willing to, its fine.

i guess u r IT illiterate. hardly there is anybody in IT field who works just 8hrs for the whole year. atleast half of the time he is forced to work more than 8 hrs.

every company in IT industray works for more than 8 hours. Satyam working timings are from 9am to 6:45 pm i don't think any Indian IT company follows 8 hour rule.
Why so much of hype for Infosys, Wipro, TCS. They are just body shoppers. No innovation, product development. They just use the knowledge invented by some1 else and nothing gr8 abt them. Admire Google, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Adobe etc. They invented the technologies. Instead of bulding the campuses in big cities, why can't they go to small towns and improve them. Many people will be available to do the type of work in Infosys, so no need to worry abt Man-Power. Please think about this.

to an extent what u said is true, but not everyone has to be einstein, not everybody has to be kalam. we need workers, we need few brains to do the usual jobs. On the positive side, these IT companies have raised our level of life. Did u even imagine having a 50k salary for a 25yr old guy?? I guess never!!! and jobs for almost 100,000 guys in a one company?? no!!!

ya i am agree with u. previously when happened, after finishing his/her graduation, indian tried to open some small shop in thier native place or started some small marketing or some mechanical engineering type job. But no doubt, IT has changed india's life. Today the real state boom is only due to IT. if any body is thinking of MBAcourse then also due to IT so that they can become HR manager in the industary. I think Nashtradumu future prediction is going true, except world war.

it's great that they make money without any cheating . nothing is black money .They have created lot of oppurtunities.and regarding body shopping .. , for them it is the main source of income. . Nobody in INDIA can invest much in IT R&D like IBM , ADOBE etc. if they try , then there r no WIPROs INFYs or TCSs..

To a great extent you are right. Our major IT companies have their maximum revenue from Body shopping - maybe initial stages that looks alright. But what is worrying that none of them are sadly are into real product development, R&D kind of thing - which are the path breakers and true sign of leadership.
And I presume they are all thinking and also working in this direction already.
But nonetheless given the background under which they have succeeded to be where they are today - they all deserve our Salute and not rebuke.

Do it dude, the product development. It is not that easy to make a product and sell it across the world. Doing the body shopping isn't that difficult just by showing enggrs. Do the R&D and sell it across the Markets, then u vl realize the product development. How many years over since the Wipro, Infy and TCS set-up ? It is more than 20 yrs and not even a single product from them. Our perception, wtever that comes from west is superior, is 100% true. They follow the standards, rules, time schedules and cleanliness. Just doing R&D is not the only big thing but following these things is also very important. Do you think Indians follow any of these? Except Bengaloru (Karnataka), Chennai (TN) and Hyderabad (Andra), no other part of India follows these things.
Shame on finance minister%u2019s exclamation though if it is expressed out of whatever it is. Whatever the government should have taken initiative to make India world class on infrastructure, if a small IT company is able to do this why not we (our planners ,govt,businessmen,people ) restore our pride by making the whole India re-build with true achievement and pride.

I completely agree with you... Whatever name Bangalore has earned over the years has been because of the efforts put initially by 2-3 companies & only after it was shown to the government that IT has future, did the government realise the importance. Well said buddy... But there is also another point in this- major IT companies earn in dollars, so it is easier for them to build the kind of infrastructure that is shown here..but the same is not the case with the Government.

u r absolutely right. These politicians can only c such infrastructures getting built in awe.. these old stupid idiots cannot even think of an excellent infrastructure. I wud be happy if these guys do not harm the companies who are building our society by creating lot of jobs.
Really really fed up with these stories about Infy campuses!! Other than the delight on the first day, what difference does it make to employees or even clients?
