Please keep in Mind that it is a product for Malayalies in India and abrode and it has the taste which we like. If any of you do not like it then use the pickle or curry powder from your local companies. I am sure it is one of the best taste which we mallus like.
I used many times eastern curry powder so many times,when I was in SaudiArabia,it is one of the worst product,how is sakthi masala,how is Priya pickles. I don't trust any product from kerala,for business,they can do anything ex.mix pappaya seeds with pepper the list goes.....

for the last ~15 years in my house , we are using Eastern curry powder; I have to say here, it is the best curry powder I have ever used. My father is a retail store; and many times I heard from him that peple buys only eastern curry powder. Compare the price of Sakhi or Everest with Easter.... eastern has a very low price and the quality is better than them.
He deserve Parama Veer Chakra for his Bravery to run an Industry in Kerala...A place of nightmare to the indusrialist like us....Trade unions, hartals, Bandh , Yups, what a nast atmossphere there for traders.....any way heraty congratulation
I think you don't know much abt Kerala it seems or you are living in past abt 30 to 40 years back.
Unions, hartals, Bandh are happening in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and don't speak abt North Indian states such where people are scared for their lives. Kerala is a much safer and Induatry friendly place than any other state in India.

i have all the rights as i am doing some thing better that discussing curry powder .
Being a Keralite, I know the impact Eastern has created on the world market. My relatives in the US, UK, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi use only Eastern in their daily chores. People trust these guys and it is nice to see rediff come up with a detailed report on Eastern. I wish them good luck..adios

i wish u all the best i am also a marketing person i only belive in stong foot work wich helps the brand consolidate in the market . i never see ur brand being retailed extensively if u really look up for a long term market standing than u have to have a 100%retailing strong.

East end is common name in outside India.Brand is famous.Europeans are well versed with Indian spices because of East End products.
