All you Infy lovers, here are some facts : - When Infy is No 1, you want to think the survey is fair.If its not there, its a paid survey. Get a life
- Infy is a place which makes good mechanics out of top engineers(70% marks, 1% of all applicants get through etc). Remember even if a mechanic services a mercedes or is paid extremely well(1$=40 Rs), he still remains a mechanic..
- Using its brand visibility and hype, it is able to attract the very best (still true but thats changing) but its time to realize that its revenue or value contribution is much lesser than the intellectual capital it is able to attract.
- Infy is like a big shopping mall loved by Visitors(many of them Presidents and Prime ministers) but engineers don't have the basic facilities - be it privacy, cubicles or a reliable internet connection at office.
- The end of the stock option dream has been full and final with the FBT.
- MBAs must love making presentations and cutting deals for call center work but engineers still form a major part of the company.
- The sad part is that most people lose confidence in their abilities in a few years and dont have much choice.

I agree with you on some point but you know the fact that 70% mark has different value in different part of india(Like in Chennai 70% is Poor grade while in Gorakhpur 70% is of Toppers), So infi is a part of that power that is dividing the society into two.
I know about these IT companies - satyam is the biggest exploiter that even makes its recruits sign bonds for TWO years. Same with TCS - low paying, bad politicking. If you work there, you'll be working for everybody. If they send you onsite, you'll have to spend an equal amount of time here. HCL is one of the worst employers - absolutely no consideration for people. Not a bad payer per se - but very bad politics lies within. :-(

What do you mean by Satyam is the biggest exploiter. Don't shoot words off your mouth. I have been there for over five years and have worked for more than 6 different large organisations in the past and can vouch for Satyam's employee friendly policies. So much so that it gives its employees a pretty long rope (though changing now). Every organisation seems to be a bad employer for you. Then the problem lies within you and not the employers. Why don't you start off something and let us see hw gd an organisation you are capable of building.

every where there are some satisfied employees and some frustrated employees.but the main point is overall which company is having good culture.if hewitt claims satyam to no.2 i can challenge if they come again and ask all freshers, satyam's "ELTP" and ask them about company, they tell u about real story. company not even consider them humans only treat them as slaves or say "BANDUA MAJDOOR".

Saikrishnan, do not try to imagine that your good experience is true for all. I can give you examples of multiple Satyam employees including myself suffering. It is true that there is an factor of hating your current employer. I have worked in the software industry for over 15 years and I worked both for MNCs and Indian companies. I can vouch that Satyam is by far the worst experiences I have had. The policies and procedures and the vision of Satyam definitely stand out but the leaders at different level does not match the higher vision. Try to visualize the wholistic picture rather than looking at couple of opportunities you got.

????Never Heard???? but Abhay this Hewit dont wanna to include small companies because he want advertisement from this Survey.
Dominos should be on the worst employers list. One of my friends broke his leg while driving a rickety scooter to maintain the 30 mins delivery. He was thrown out of his job and was not paid for hospitalisation.

Go to Court my friend. If he is on their payroll - they should compensate! Work related injury - he can actually retire now (if he in the US). Strongly suggest he should file a case
why cant we digest the fact the other companies can also be one of thebest employers. Should it always be Infy, CTS etc??? wherein one could get lost easily. Its better for a person to get noticed or to be noticed by the employers in a small comany wherein one on one interaction is possible. Always be a BIG FISH IN SMALL POND.
