The List Seems Biased
by asokan a on Apr 18, 2007 05:16 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Appreciate the effort to bring a list first of its kind. The parameters used are not sufficient. Will they make available the complete list including all the 230 companies they studied. We may call it Hewitt List, like Forbes.

i am surprised not to see HLL, other co's of Tata, Wipro, moreover Infosys. this looks like some kind of "you scratch my back, i scratch yours" list.

HLL and Infosys had been listed a few years ago...and they have probably stopped participating now. There are 2 Tata and 1 Wipro company listed there. But I am surprised P&G is also missing.

Satyam's Brazil Plan.
by Madan on Apr 18, 2007 03:47 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Guyz, with the salary touching high in india. Satyam has started Brazil office and is using this workforce for US Operations. So for survival and good profits any company will not restrict itself from growing in other countries. So my friends if many of you working in Satyam loose your jobs start blaming Latin American Companies & people, just like Americans blamed us for their job looses. Latin Americans are ready to do the work for 1/3rd our salaries. Start Thinking and its better to have a cut in salary than loosing a job. Don't start demanding more salary. Keep a watch on the market conditions. All the best.

I think you are talking like a CEO of a company who wants to cut his employees pay.

Ajuba deserves to be among this list. I am working for this company for past 5 years. Those who don't know about Hewitt, this is the right time to do a research on it.

I know many people too who have had very bad experiences in Satyam and Birla. It is all manipulated. Why is it that companies like HLL are not a part of this. Lot of organizations decide not to be a part of this survey and they are left out. So there is a large element of mistake in such surveys. I would probably look at the methodology before even start reading the results of the survey. Most of them would say how they arrived at the result. And BTW Google, India is not included in it too... :) and it has a fairly large presence in India and we haven't started talking about the Microsoft, Oracle, Accenture, IBM, Goldman Sachs etc etc... who all have a very significant presence is India.

Satyam is worst
by satish kumar sharma on Apr 18, 2007 12:12 AM  Permalink

I have worked with Satyam, I have seen 2-3 cases of exploitation cases in front of my eyes where they were exploted by all means. Satyam tops worst IT company in India to work for.

birla
by mghb fthn on Apr 17, 2007 11:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

its shocing to find birla the tip of the iceberg. no doubt he made many acquisitions , all employees who worked there in transworks will tell u how mean they are and how unfriendly the environment is. it is really shocking to find this bit of news. also it is a good example to show how exploitation pays the exploiter.birla is a good hit with iims and big shit with employees, non managerial. But that again is nothing new here.

These all surveys are bogus and are sponcered by these companies. The companies listed on the top 25 do not eligible to call so. Whether u take TCS or Saytam or wipro BPO. These surveys are done behalf to these companies juts to show their employees that exceot u all are happy!!
