I worked with two top indian companies (one of them is in the list) and now work with an MNC. If someone asks me now who is the best employer till now, I will say my current company. I do not know the facts behind ratings... but at the end of day the any services company would like to sell it's credibility to the customers. They can go to any extent to get the first rank. Also same thing happens in the evaluation of CMM/CMMi certification. I also heard from my friends, many organizations just do some make up before the audit. Every thing looks great on paper. But you will feel the punch only when you join the organization. But we should not really go with the ratings becasue they are all comparitive. Before joining any company make sure to enquire with the employees who are working there. They are the correct people to say something about the company not the surveys. Any company is not a good employer untill all the employees feel excited to go to work everyday morning.
Few months back there was an article that Google is the best employer worldwide, strange to see that it does not figure in the top 25 companies in India. I guess Google does not know how to keep Indians happy.

Hello man, Google does not have registered as the Indian company. That is the reason company like IBM, Google and Oracle does not come in the list of Indian companies. I do not know the latest status of IBM.

@Amen Is it necessary that Infosys shud be there in evry list? I think this type of Infy hangover is very common among the trainees..don't know ur status :-)

May be the companies u all guys r expecting in the Best Employers List didnt even participated ... Let me make a point clear to all of u. Hewitt Survey is very fair n non biased and it completely depends on the survey findings.

You probably have never worked in Reliance or Infy. Or do you know something which you plan to share with everyone?
We should appreciate that someone is doing a survey to let us know what each of growing corporates doing for their employees (let the motive be anything) but as long as it benefits the employee & society , please understand that the same is average of some parameters that had been taken into consideration to rank the companies that participated and let us not worry about the rank , but see the best practices and policies that each of the companies believe in to give and take the best from the employees . And also i read some one stating that couples of leading big brands did not take participation thus this survey is not valid and this is ridiculous , I would conclude those companies which may have not participated would have less confident .......let's us take positive perception for our growth -Sanjay S

If you will Questionmark each and every survey/rating then there will be nothing to set benchmark
One must appreciate ICICI stand in providing easy employment and good pay package with opportunity to face new challanges, I like when I see all the youngsters striving to get the business. (Readers I am surely not from ICICI team) its my common sense that is all.
