This survey seems to be a mislead lot of people. How come Satyam is there in this list. They are one of the worst IT payers. How come Reliance is not there in this list. Where is CTS?

Great to note that Infosys is missing! The amount of hype these people create about being the "best employer" and "Best Managed" company is all bullshit! It hurts to say it... but money and power really corrupt and that's what seems to have happened to Mr. Murthy, who made those ludicrous comments the other day about the National Anthem!

Infosys not being thr may not be a big issue but dont go for media hype which is creating bad image for Narayana Murthy who has given alot to the nation rather than politician who have done nothing but making money out of it .

Infosys is NOT here, as should be the case. This itself is a testimony that this survey seems authentic.

Infosys is now not the one which Narayan Murthy dreamt of. Please do not malign the image of this great soul, this great person. Read what he said about the National Anthem and don't get carried away by what the politicians say. But is you say that Infosys is the not the best employee, I'll agree with you totally. They don't have work ethics, the middle management which comprises of people who are in the company for long play dirty and filthy politics creating absolutely a non conducive atmosphere for people to work, particularly people who do not have Infosys blood in them and have fresh ideas. HR is just not doing their work. The exit interview that they take is just a farce. No actions are taken on this. Some people (delivery managers) in Infosys have created their own area (a small kingdom) where those people who are in their preference list gets all the benefits. Its a shame on the current management of Infosys, the N. Murthy's dream of Infosys will never materialise, as the shareholders are happy. Who care's about employers? If you don't like, leave Infosys. This is the current HR's and management's view. So please do not crib if you at Infosys. You are not going to get anything better apart from salary hike.

Sorry.........Its not abt the owner not knowing how to respect the national flag........The fact is........U dont understand English.....If u had, you would have read the words perfectly.....Please join an english speaking course.
cant c infy in this list........ what does it shows? Should v accept this list or shud v believe infosys is only interested in gainig profits rather than taking care of employees!!! Ya i do agree that pay in infosys is comparitively less than the industry standards, but apart from pay, infy provides amazing facilities to their employees..

RE:Infy....... by Shantan Kumar on Apr 17, 2007 07:36 PM (VERY GOOD POST BY Mr. Shantan) Venki, what facilities does Infosys provide to employees? Are you talking about the Cafe Coffee Day shops inside the campus? Are you talking about Indigo Nation, Food World, Domino's Pizza etc inside the campus? Or are you talking about the state-of-the-art gym inside the campus? Remember, like you & me know all these are not "facilities" provided to Infosys' employees, they are "paid services". Tell me one thing that Infosys provides free of cost to it's employees! Even a basic thing like parking is not free... so what facilities are you talking of?
And if you are talking about the beautiful campuses being built, remember these are not for the employees, but they are for customers... have you ever played golf in the campus? Ask any top honchos from your client whether they have played and they'll say 'Yes'! Infosys management is just building up their assets by developing these campuses. So, don't be swayed by all the crap that the management dishes out in the name of "facilities"!

Oh... Never seen such a candid comment. I did not know this reality about Infosys.. Regarding the survey's results, I think the top companies like Microsoft , Oracle india should definitely be in the list. The way they deal with their employees is unmatched by any Indian MNC. Had a chance to work Indian MNC as well as Oracle India. The facilities provided by Oracle is many folds better than any Indian MNC, I believe.
They are the top IT cos, other than TCS (which is already there in the list). These two are always on the news for a lot of right and wrong things and also for their financial performance. But they are not even among the top 25 in employee satisfaction? Is this survey right OR this is the truth?

This is not the top richest employees but top employees i.e. the ones who treat their employees like human beings, not necessarily pay more.Money is not the only thing. Why are so many of you ignorant!

Wipro is there as 11th. Infy is not there in the list. You might have seen the attrition rate of Infy when they gave the quarter result. They are no more the best employer..and the survey is right. They better the result on the cost of employees.
I am surprised to see Eureka Forbes in the list, What i know about them is that they never ever care for their Employees, How come they are 4th? Is the data reliable?
