India can survive only with strong muscle power. Why we are taught History in schools? The purpose is to learn from our own past, and not to repeat the same mistakes our for-fathers made. All of us understand this except our illiterate politicians. Immediately after our independence, if we had spent enough on defence, then neither China in 1962 nor Pakistan in 1964 and 1971 (and again small attempt in Kargil) would have dared to even look at india. But unfortunately, if someone has to be blamed, then Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and then all the congressmen followed by all our so called politicians. Still, it is not late, increase our defence spending to 5% of our GDP, that is almost double from the last budget amount. Increase our armed forces strength by one million, and you will create more employment. Invest in more defence related R&D, and produce more armaments in our country and ultimately it will add to our GDP only. That is what USA, Russia, China and all the well developed or strong countries do. We must do the same. Only strong india can give its citizens to win self respect in the world. Nehru has become history, and remember, nobody has given india a contract to implement peace in the world.
We have Chinese bullying us on our border (even though there is only Indo Tibet border, chinese have eaten up tibet and looking at indian territory). China has hugel arsenal nuclear and conventional. But when we try to achieve something we appear apologetic.Why? Like when we fire Agni missile, we are heaving a sigh of relief that all world power including china didn' condemn it, why is our leadership so spineless. Did china ask India when they built all their ICBMs and that are so advance. Did china ask us when they stockpiled som much nuclear arsenal that they comfortably were recognized as nuclear power. Why are we not open and strong? Just to win some friends we are acting as meek and timid. Indian govt. should be clear on nuclear built up and permanent seat in UN. Also building ICBMS. We are not looking at parity with bangladesh or Sri lanka. We are definitely having much bigger popiulation to protect. Everything if we seek Chinese permission then better surrender whole of India to China. Or start the independent strong policy by standing up to China and throw his Ambassador out of the country ( as he staked claim to Indian land sitting in Inida) and also clarify to China to stop arming pakistan if they expect freiendship and India not to work with taiwan.

It is a big mistake, we allowed Sun to allow here in India, I accept that. See it looks like India only a country, it only has border. Why China doesn't have any border problem w/ any body, Why Pak doesn't have any border probelm w/ anybody. Is there any other nations have border problem w/ anybody. We need to be more strong to resolve all the border problems permanently, instead of appeasing these countries, improve defense budget double amount.

Our defense project budget is very low, we need to increase that. Even there is no threat countries spending like anything, double, triple amounts. We are facing lot of threats, spending less is not advisable. We need to improve our defense budget, for Making domestic & for buying from outside.
